< celebratory cake >

THIS was the second time you ordered from me. hell, was i delighted. it was in the morning when you came to me, dressed so casually, and yet you seemed like a god. this time there were six friends with you, all whom i assumed were there when i lost my temper that night. "hello," i smile tightly, even though my heart is melting to the floor with you here. you grin at me, the smile blinding in my eyes. "hello, i'm here to order another cake. it's for the party we're throwing tonight," you say, taking the old clipboard from my hands. i hand you a pen, in which you take and quickly scribble down the answers to the form.

"done," you exclaim, passing the wooden board back to me. i scan the form, my eyes trailing that neat handwriting of yours. i nod to confirm that the form was filled in properly, at which you might have taken as a signal to go. "alright, then. good-bye," you say, before joining your hoard outside and walking away.

i watch your disappearing figure. isn't it obvious that i like you, jeon jeongguk?
