Connor POV:
After I saved that little girl I was assigned back to Cyberlife. They were proud of my work, they seemed happy with me. I was told I was going to work at the Detriot Police Department to hunt down and capture deviants so they can get sent back to Cyberlife to be shut down. I only had one mission capture them and return them to Cyberlife. It was 7:30am my assigned partner who I had not met wasn't at the police station yet.
I didn't know his name I was going to meet Captain Fowler to get the details. The police department was rather big, spacious and was starting to become full with the officers turning up for duty maybe one of them was my partner. I analysed the names on the desk of each person. 'Detective Gavin Reed', maybe he was my partner, 'Lieutenant Anderson', wonder who that is.
After searching around the place Captain Folwer had shown up to work so I went to greet him.
"Hello Captain Fowler My name is Connor, I'm the android sent by Cyberlife". The captain looked at me with a strange look but he started talking to me after I introduced myself.
"Connor it's great to see you, you will be working with Lieutenant Anderson, his desk is just out this door straight ahead on your right".
Oh I remember seeing his name after I saw Detective Reed's.
"He won't be in for a while, probably got drunk and can barely wake up in the meantime look around this place and get to know a few people, I should warn you Lieutenant might not seem happy with you at first, just don't anger or pressure him and you guys might just get along".
"Thank you Captain Fowler, I'm happy to have joined the team".
I soon walked out the office and walked down the stairs. Detective Reed was at his desk maybe I could go talk to him, he might like me. I walked up to his desk and studied him

I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when Detective Reed cleared his throat.
"Umm hello may I help you?
"I'm sorry Detective Reed, my name is Connor, I am the android sent by Cyberlife. I have been assigned to work with Lieutenant Anderson but he does not seem to be in work at the moment, I am looking around the police station to get to know more people and communicate with them.
"Oh well nice to meet you Connor I'm guessing you know my name haha, it'll be nice to have a new addition to the DPD, I'll introduce you to more people and whenever Hank decides to show up I'll introduce you to him."
"Thank you Detective Reed."
Detective Reed showed me around the police department introducing me to new people. They were all very friendly and welcoming they were happy I joined the team, they just warned me when Lieutenant Anderson is hungover he isn't in a good mood and I shouldn't talk much to him to keep him happy until he is sober. They said he was a generally good person.
Gavin's POV
I saw that new android Connor, wow he looks amazing I know he's an android but he just has this innocent look to him. I wish he called me Gavin instead of Detective but we can work on things. He is also so cute ugh why am I thinking this I need to get closer with him, I must my heart tells me to.
Connor's POV
My partner Lieutenant Anderson arrived at work, I walked over to him to study him a little closer

Lieutenant Anderson looked at me funny but I introduced myself
"Hello Lieutenant Anderson, my name is Connor, I am the android sent by Cyberlife. I have been assigned to assist you any missions involving deviants, I hope we can become partners and work together well."
"Well Connor, maybe that could work out use the seat in front of me and start looking at the deviant cases, find one close by and we will check it out.
"RK800 hey? A prototype made by Cyberlife, that sounds interesting.
"Yes I am a machine designed to accomplish my task, I have been assigned to take down deviants and that's what I'll do."
Nobody's POV
Hank really wishes Connor didn't say he was a machine he was so much more than that he was his assigned partner, he wasn't drunk either he could see through Connor. He knew about andriods devintating and to be honest he wish Connor did that. He wishes he wasn't a lifeless machine. He could be a deviant and still help with crimes right? Sure he could. Hank noticed Gavin staring a lot at Connor he was confused why, he didn't question though.
Gavin had other plans he was going to talk to Connor more and possibly take him out somewhere and really get a connection. In time he'll try to devianate Connor as well, it hurts hearing Connor call himself a machine and Gavin will change that, hopefully forever.

I hope you guys enjoyed this, this was my first fanfic. I plan this to be a Gavin x Connor obviously as you can tell hehe. But I'd love to hear feedback.
