Becky's POV
"My dear thank you." She said in her angelical voice. "Now it is time for you to come home."
"No! I-I can't." I stuttered as I looked back at Damon's motionless body.
"Ah. I see. You don't want to leave your mate." She sighed and placed her soft hand on my cheek.
Now that I've gotten a good look at the moon goddess herself I saw a major resemblance.
"I c-can't leave him." I cried.
"You have to come home." She said lightly grasping my wrist and helping me to my feet.
She slowly walked me towards the light but I couldn't keep my eyes off of Damon's lifeless body.
Tears streamed down my face as I shook my head and pulled my wrist from her grasp. I quickly laid on his chest and cried even more.
"I can't. I just can't." I cried making her sigh.
"I understand dear but it's for the best." She said rubbing my back comfortingly.
"No. I won't go. I can't leave him." I cried into Damon's motionless chest. "Mom. Can't you do something?"
She looked at me with so much love and pain from my unhappiness and sighed. She nodded her head slightly and kneeled next to me.
"You have two choices dear." She sighed. "You can come home to where you belong and keep everyone you love safe or I can bring your mate back and everyone you know will be in extreme danger. You, your mate, your future children, your friends, your family, your pack, your species. Everyone will be in great danger."
I didn't want to lose Damon forever but I also didn't want everyone in danger.
"I... I... I choose."
