I was trying not to panic.

I look around hoping he wasn't in sight, not wanting any trouble. Gazing back to our table Gabe was scowling down at his cheese sandwich and his pudding, Mariana was still looking quite giddy booping her head from side to side listening to her music through her Air Pods, and Sarah was just...

Doing...her thing...reading...

As for my lunch it was beginning to not look that appetizing...

"So...Clementine"...

Peering up at Mariana she looked like she was up to no good.

"You see any cute guys yet"? She flares waving her fork in the air melodramatically.

I go scarlet red. I realise I have NEVER had a boyfriend, or even kissed one for that matter. I've always had friends, but I've never gotten close to anyone like that before. 

"Umm...not really-"

"CAMPBELL"!
Sarah stammers across the table.

"Huh"?

"Oh no"...
Gabe utters, the three of them looking intimidated.

"What's Campbell"?

I look around across the various groups of teens eating their lunch and attempting to Bottle-Flip, I see a two girls walking in the distance that maniacally stood out.

Twins.

They were tall, both ginger, one girl had long, straight hair whilst the other one had hers short and edgy.

"Jezz"...
I mutter to myself

"Clem...don't go anywhere near those girls".

I gaze over at Mariana confused.

"Minerva Campbell is literally the biggest vamp in Arlington".

"And the other girl"?

"Her sister, Sophie, she does whatever she tells her to do".

Focusing on the two taking their seats with two other girls, both blonde, I could tell these girls were meant to be hard but something seemed so off about them...

"Minnie's temperamental Clem I really wouldn't stare-"

Whilst Gabes annoying tone was fizzing in the back of my head I wasn't aware that I was looking at them for too long. The tall one, Minnie, began walking towards us.

Oh shit.

"You want trouble"? "Why do you nerds keep looking over-"

I turn my head slightly as she stopped in her tracks, she was leaning against the table, her sharp fluid green eyes were stuck to mine, I notice she flinches when she looks down at me.
Like she was...
Surprised.

"So, your the New Girl".
Her tone snide and hostile.

"Yeah".
"What of it"?
I say back, to her surprise.

"It's MY business to know".

Is this girl Insane?

"I don't follow-"
