I’m very clever. You may not have realized it but I did things without getting caught and I tell you, if I was caught, I’d be dead. 20 times over. I’ll tell you about one of my sneaky times...
I was manning the control panel, like I do every year, when there was a pack of Careers who befriended the pack of rabid wolves I sent at them. I hate the Careers. Also so dumb and brag about themselves all the time. Anyway, they were running straight towards a District 7 tribute. The girl from that district actually. She was sleeping in a tree and the Careers spotted her. While they were arguing who would kill her, I thought about what to do. Acid rain wouldn’t work. I would kill her too. But if I made a thunderstorm and shot lightning at the tree... It would work perfect. I made it hit the top of the tree but also the bottom and it killed most of the Careers. The rest of them ran away. She got out of the tree, unharmed, but instead of it looking like I let her escape, it looked like I was trying to make her fall out of her tree, into the Careers. To make a long story short, she won her games. I learned her name was Johanna, and told her all about my attempts to help her. She thought I was a creepy man and we became mortal enemies after that. But that’s fine with me! I don’t like making friends with tributes anyway. I have to go now. There’s a party at 9:00 sharp. I have to get my groove on for the ladies ;)
