I already talked about this in a mythical server so I'm wondering what people here think.
This is gonna be a controversial chapter as it talks abut both the Storm, Covid and vaccine mandates so if you don't wanna know just skip it.
I think that the people who came up with the Storm stuff were right but were wrong about who it would apply to. Let me explain: The first of the two dates was 2020 which was when the pandemic started and a bunch of other horrible stuff happened. The thing is Wuhan is one of the main places (the other being Californa) where chimeras were being developed so they probably thought "bad things are happening there it must be related to the storm" when really it was the pandemic starting point.
( While I don't hate the idea of chimeras as much as I used to I'm pretty sure that most people who were brought up on MaximumRide as most mythicals are would see them as bad. )
I also personally believe that the fact that 80% of the non-human/mythical population on wattpad thought the storm was going to happen which probably helped to manifest things (based on personal experiences fear is actually a really easy emotion to manifest things on)
2022 was the second date people believed things would kick off and if you believed that 2020 was the starting date then 2022 was the year we would start to lose. Well now these mandates are coming in to the point where people who don't take the vaccine might be arrested in the future. Now I know that a good portion of both the mythical, witch and alternative healer groups haven't and aren't going to get the vaccine for various reasons and if you had a dream where your mythical friends were arrested in a year everyone thought the storm was going to happen what would you think at the time?
(And before anyone asks I am not against vaccines although I personally can't have this one due to a very specific reason that I sincerely hope no other person has to deal with)
However if I'm right about the part of 2020 being manifested through storm fears theory it means we all have the power to change things on a global scale, so do it. Use magick to make a better world.
