Meant to post this yesterday but couldn't think of what to write. Anyway the summer was awesome and I got to do loads of cool stuff.
Family got very lost on a road trip and almost drove into an airsoft field rather than the castle we were trying to get to. I think it was in the part of my journal that got deleted but it was the same place I got my 7 point star necklace. We also got lost again in a hedge maze because there was a bit of argy bargy about what direction to take. In the end I solved it by spying on the people in the tower and the center of the maze lol. Anyway we got to go through a man made grotto full of shells, quartz and agate which is a sort of reward for competing the maze.
I really did get to go to Camden market and... yes we did get lost again. My feet wanted to murder me because I decided to wear my cyberpunk boots. It was still one of the top 5 days ever though. The Cyberdog shop is incredible! Camden market is huge and I didn't get to see everything so I'll probably go back there soon.
There were a few seaside trips as well which were fun and a witch market. Imagine a whole convention hall that just sold witchcraft supplies and gothic clothes. I got a black and silver quiver for Conquest's altar and some blue lace agate, peridot and garnet for spellwork. It was amazing! There is also gonna be 2 more events one in September and one the day before my birthday in October.
Just a little bonus story:
There's this one really weird construction site near where I live. Nothing has been built on it for almost half a decade now but every 3 to 6 months they move the huge pile of sand from one side to the other. I can only imagine the conversation to go like this "Well we knocked down a historic site but no one is buying the land. Quick lets make it look like we are actually doing something! Pay some people to move the sand again!"
Hopefully more cool events happen in the future soon!
Oh and I'm trying to think up more stuff to write for Sigil of Dreams and Starheart but I'm low on ideas at the moment so it may take a while.
