No real update on the boiler as the people are coming back Monday. If you ever get caught out without heating then put a sleeping bag under your duvet. Tried that last night and was actually warm for the first time since but I think I might actually be getting used to the cold now because I've been feeling alright all morning (Admittedly I've been wearing two jumpers but still).
Apparently my journal is 40th in the journal tag on Wattpad now? I didn't think I was that interesting but thanks people!
I actually had this whole "Hero's journey" project I wanted to start but then this happened.
Later: Deconstructed both my altars because I don't want to risk anything getting broken. Maybe when it's time to reinstate everything I'll remove a few items that don't hold any meaning anymore. When I started out I was buying pretty much every ornament or jewelry that was even vaguely related to my patron deity or random crystals so honestly a lot of stuff doesn't have the meaning it should do. It just felt really disrespectful to mess with anything so I left it but considering I absolutely had to move it this is a good opportunity for a restart.
Ok I'm actually kinda wondering if my Hero's journey project is in fact incredibly ironic because when I was supposed to start it I had to deal with a real problem and did learn a bunch of life lessons from it but seriously I don't want to have to deal with anything like this again for a long time!!

We have a working heating system!! I know next to nothing about this stuff but I think what happened was there was some kind of rust/chalk mix that had blocked up half a pipe. Thank goodness it's been fixed. May the next event in my life be something positive.

The heating took 30 seconds longer to turn on and everyone was side eyeing each other expecting something to go wrong again. It's still working thank goodness.
Spent most of today altering a thrift store dress to look like Kleya Marki's dress from Andor. Considering it's essentially just a navy and white dress I'm tempted to wear it at the Christmas market on the weekend and see if anyone recognizes me.
