Pool Party - Part 1

Note: Please let me know if it's cannon that colt and jessie are siblings t^t

It was a summer day in Brawl Town. The tempature was skyrocketing as the day came on, leaving every person in town sweating buckets.

Luckily this meant everyone had the day off, Jessie thought as she gazed out her bedroom window. Even the window was hot to the touch.

"My ceiling fan sucks!" She whispered to herself. Their air conditioning wasn't working too good, so Pam had done all she could to try and cool everyone off.

She heard her doorknob click, and a woosh of hot air filled the room as her door opened. She groaned and craned her neck to face to visitor.

"Coltttt! Don't let the hot air in!"

Her older brother, Colt, laughed nervously.

"Heh. Sorry. Just wanted to let you know that the entire air conditioning went down. We're gonna have to wait another couple of hours to fix it." He announced.

Jessie's eyes widened.

"Are you serious?!"

She got up and fell on her bed. "Go away, Colt."

Colt awkwardly waved goodbye to Jessie and closed the door, as another wave of hot air entered the room.

Jessie laid there for a few moments and wiped the sweat off her forehead.
Ah, screw it. I might as well go outside.
She threw on some shorts and a t-shirt and went outside.

"I'm going outside!" She called into the house, closing the door behind her.

What should I do? She pondered.

Maybe Nita's at the park.

Jessie began headed towards the park, when she saw two people running towards her, she yelped and got out of the way. It was Poco and Bull, both with sunglasses. Bull was carrying a cooler.

"Watch where you're going!" Jessie snapped.

Bull snickered, and nudged Poco.

"Oh, um. Sorry." Poco muttered.

Jessie noticed a backpack on his shoulder.

"Where are you even going? Running away?" Jessie asked, confused.

Bull piped up.  "Oh, we're going to Brock's pool party. VIP only." He boasted.

Poco looked tired. "Actually, anyone can come. He got some giant in-ground pool installed last month and is throwing a pool party. Like, the whole town's coming."

Jessie perked up. Pool party?
"Is Nita coming?"

"Yeah. There's gonna be refreshments and music, it starts in 15 minutes." Poco explained.

"Oh heck yeah!" Jessie cheered, knocking the pack out of Poco's hand as she ran back to her house. "Sorry!" She said, yelling behind her shoulder.

She arrived at her house, and quickly ran up the stairs to her room.
