I woke up in a strange room, who brought me here?
'Wait, did I really faint? I thought that was just a nightmare.' I thought to myself feeling my head hot and cold at the same time and most of all heavy, which that was about to burst.
It was still raining outside, I looked at the window as I heard someone entering in the room. It was Watari.

"Mistress (Y/N), I'm so glad you are ok." He said getting closer to me and tightening my hands with his. "Fortunately I found you in time, Rioji sent me your location sending me an SoS message." He said sighing in relief. I smiled looking at my phone seeing Rioji's face winking at me and smiling.
I smiled as well, turning my head straight to Watari who lent me a cup of tea with the letter "L" drew on it. "Mr. Lawliet haven't eat or drink since you weren't returning." Watari said sitting on my bed and taking a thermometer. My heart was pounding again, was he worried about me?
"We should check if you have the fever." He said placing an hand on my forehead and putting the thermometer in my mouth. "You were under that cold rain for about 4 hours." What? 4 hours?

We heard the door opening one more time, I heard also steps who were getting closer, that person was almost running to my bedroom.
Watari stood up and exited from the room greeting me with a smile. "When you'll know if you have the fever or not call me ok?" He said worried like a father. I smiled tiredly back and nodded.
When he was about to close the door, a hand stopped it making a step inside of the room, It was Lawliet.
I could see that he was mad and disappointed by my behavior, what I did was a stupid action.
He got closer to me, closing the door and sitting as all normal people's do with his back arched and his eyes were looking the floor.
"Why did you go outside like this, you know you're afraid of thunders." He said without looking at me.
"WHY." He said almost shouting in anger and looking at me. I gasped and took my hands on my chest, feeling my heartbeat race and my eyes burning. I took out of my mouth the thermometer to spoke.
"I-I'm sorry..." I just said without even looking in his eyes.
"I was worried, really worried, that was a very stupid action o-" I cut him, I couldn't do this anymore, I had to tell him. "I felt alone." I said louder and starting to tear down again. He immediately took up his head, as his deep and black eyes meet mine, tears started to create in his eyes too, trying his best to hide them.
"I had to focus on my job." He said tightening his punches and looking away emotionless.
My heart almost broke hearing those words, maybe I wasn't that important to him as I thought.
I started to cry silently, even if some sobs came out of my mouth so I covered it with my hand. He looked at me guilty and getting near, taking my hand and kissing it. I looked at his face, still with tears down to my cheeks, whose was still kissing my hand and tears were falling down from his eyes, wetting my hands.

Watari made his entry again inside of the room full of tears and guiltiness.
"I'm sorry to disturb you, but we have to check her fever." Watari said taking the thermometer and looking at it, without caring about him. L obeyed and he sat on the nearest chair, which was next to the bed where I was, without let my hand go.
"Mistress (Y/N), your fever is very high." He said looking at L, trying to tell him that he had to go If he wouldn't take the fever from me.
"I'll take care of her." L said standing up and touching my forehead worried, Watari sighed.
"As you wish Mr. L." He said getting out of the room, closing the the door behind his back.
My eyes were too heavy to stay open so I fell asleep again.

L. (P.O.V.)

I felt responsible for everything that happened to her. I delicately took her bridal style in my arms while she was sleeping and brought her to our original room.
I put her to bed and covered her body with the blankets. I was facing her sitting on the couch, I exaggerated this time, she doesn't deserve this.

I took her a wet cloth and put it on her hot forehead, hoping that could actually did something about her fever. She was breathless, almost exhausted.
Tears came again into my eyes, I entered next to her in the bed, hugging her and keeping an eye on her.
"L-L...?" She said breathless and trying to open her eyes. I was laid next to her awake, in case she needed something. "Do not tire yourself, (Y/N)..." I said caressing her cheek which was on fire, tears were still falling down to my cheeks, she immediately dried them delicately ; I could fell her hand shaking, in sign that she was making too much effort for me.
"I-I don't want you to take the fever..." She said opening her beautiful (E/C) eyes and looking straight to me.

"I won't leave you alone again..." I said still crying and sobbing. "I'm so sorry, I promise, you're never going to be alone again..." I said looking at her, who was making a soft smile, closing again her eyes a bit and caressing my cheek with her tired hand.
"I love you Lawliet..." She said putting her hand behind my head. "I love you too (Y/N)..." I said feeling the warmth her body was emanating under the blankets. She leaned me into a sweet kiss. It was so warmth and soft that I couldn't resist, so my tongue gently touched hers, hearing her moaning a bit. I touched delicately and slowly her hips while our tongues were still slowly playing with each other and made my way all into her panties, earning another little moan from her.

I stopped everything, feeling a little weak, hot and cold at the same time too, Did she already pass me the fever? I hugged her strongly in my warm arms, hearing her slow heartbeat. "I'm sorry Lawliet..." She said weakly and under her breath, feeling responsible.
"Shh." I said placing a finger on her mouth, falling both asleep.

After a couple of minutes, I was woken up by a thread of light which came from the door, It was Watari with a little bottle of syrup for me and her.
I was still laid next to her, coughing and covering my mouth.
"Mr. L-" I silenced him, giving him a sign to low his voice because she was still sleeping, I didn't want to wake her up. My eyes were still heavy, and I could keep that open for long.
"Mr. L, you two should take the syrup." Watari said with a low tone of voice to not wake her up.
"Yes, yes later." I said giving him a sign to go away and hugging her more. Watari sighed and went out of the warm room, hoping that we could take the syrup soon to continue to work on the case.

(Y/N)'s (P.O.V.)

I woke up feeling my body still cold, hot and weak at the same time. I was wrapped into Lawliet's arms, whose were weak as well.
He started to cough and I could hear that he was breathless, I felt guilty for passing him my fever, so I got up, trying my best to stay on my legs, and took Watari's syrup on the shelf next to our bed. I took a spoon from the kitchen, I poured a bit of the disgusting medicine on it and took it closer to his mouth.

"Sweetie..open your mouth." I said gently with the spoon my hand, whose was shaking and reaching his mouth. He growled and turned himself away, disgusted by the syrup. I sighed almost laughing but I knew a way to convince him. "Sweetie you have to take it..." I said getting closer to his ear with a sexual voice : "If you want to have fun with me later." I said biting my lips and gently touching his arm.
He immediately stood up blushing without saying a word and placed the spoon in his mouth. I blushed madly, he took the spoon out of his mouth and made a disgusted face. He looked at me and raised an eyebrow, taking the syrup and pouring a bit on the spoon, he wanted me to take that too so that we could actually, well you know, do that.
I placed the spoon gently in my mouth and made also a disgusted face looking at him. He immediately kissed me to let the bad taste pass. He took me on his lap, making his sweet tongue entry in my mouth immediately.
He started to touch my sensitive spots all over my body, making me moan a bit and making my core wet. As I started to take my hands down from his chest, he immediately stopped me and got up from the bed.
"H-Hey." I said desperate still on the bed, he looked at me with a little smile and took his hands inside his pockets.
"We have a killer to find, am I wrong?" He said with a grin on his face and taking a plate of strawberry cake from the kitchen, which ate in 3 minutes.
I sighed getting up from the bed and getting dressed to go to the main office to the others.
Misa wouldn't been there today, she has another shooting in the park, so he could go to the others in the main office while I would go to Misa.
As I was finishing to get dressed, I felt Lawliet taking my hips from behind and his breath on my neck, kissing it slowly.
"I'm going to end this tonight." He said making me shiver and blush madly as he went out of the room to reach the main office, leaving me shaking and blushing.
