Violet's POV:
It's been a whole week since Clementine gave me her number, and we've been talking nonstop all day and nights. We even
Slept on the phone together, especially when i would have my nightmares. She claims me being here for her has helped her with softball.
Luckily we are moving into dorms at school, maybe we can be closer than usual.
She made me feel safe, safe I haven't felt in years. It's like she filled a broken piece of me, and she knows just how to keep me going even through the shit I go through.
I walked out my house, packed bags with my clothes and everything I would need to move into the dorm at school.
Arriving at the school
I look down at the paper that had my dorm number on it, realizing it's the same dorm I had last year.I place my bag down on the bed and hear a familiar voice from next door. I arch my brow as I hear a girls beautiful singing voice, it was soft and sweet. My nosey side unleashed, I walked out the room to see a beautiful brunette girl singing along to what seems to be, my favorite artist Girl in Red.
She was dancing, and singing on to Girls. I couldn't help but to crack a smile, giggling quietly at her dancing, but then my face dropped from the smile. Becoming completely red, as I watched her body movements. How they flowed to the beat of the song, how perfect and happy she looked at that moment. It was just something so attractive about her, that made me want to be even more interested in her.
"Whatcha staring at Violetttt?" The girl asked, giggling possibly at my red face.
I didn't notice she caught me staring. I shake my head, clearing my thoughts and red face. "Nothing! S-Sorry. I was just wondering who was singing. You have a very nice, beautiful voice..and I think we should sing together" I say, smiling gently.
"and um also wondering, since your not like busy with softball and we're also neighbors..I was wondering if we could possibly u-hm hang out." I add on, shying out as I hold on to my arm. Looking down, then back up at her waiting for her response.
"Well thank you, I think we should..and of course we can hang out Silly! We haven't talked for nothing. How about we go to that Carnival tonight? I heard Louis and your friends are going. Then when we get back..maybe we could have a sleepover." Clementine asked, smiling at me concerning.
"Yes, I would love that! Let's do it." I say nervously, hoping she didn't hear how of a mess I am. I know that tonight if I go with her, I'm going to have to hide half of my expressions so I won't be too obvious.
"So its a date then." She says, smiling at me from afar.
"W-Wait date?.." I asked, my face tinting pink
"Yes, a best friend date along with those two love birds, Aasim and Louis!" She says, smiling at me. You didn't actually think I meant a real date, did you?" She shrugs, asking me as she smiles.
"Uhm..no! Of course not, hey! I gotta go get unpacked and get ready for tonight..I'll see you later Clem." I lie, smiling right through.
"Oh..okay! I'll see you later then Vi."
I knew she was way to good for me.
Or maybe she's confused , I don't know.
Hour's later:
I finished decorating my room, placing my 'emo' records up along with my purple hue lights."Hello LBF, you getting ready for that carnival tonight along with Clementine?" Louis asked, crossing his arms as he looked at my room
