It's been a year
Year without seeing her face
Hearing her voice in person
I missed her
But someone happened to save me from my loneliness for a year, someone I never thought would come around to me, again. Before we go there..let me tell you what happened the days after Clementine had left
10 months later.
I sat quietly in my room, my music in as I hear a knock on my door, making my heart jump as it usually would be Clementine coming over at this time."The door is open." I yelled out quietly.
Louis came in and looked at me sitting there, hair fallen in front of my face feeling as I looked like a depressed messed.
"Hey, I came in to check on you and brought your favorites."
He brought me box of Dots, my favorite rock band movie along with my favorite classic, Breakfast Club.
I smiled at him and he opened his arms.
"Come onn, come give your favorite rich boy a hug. We both know you need it"I sigh, looking at him. I knew I couldn't turn up a good hug from my best friend in a moment like this. I stood up from the bed, hugging him as I rest my head on his chest.
Lou always knew how to make me feel better about things, and for that I loved that dork for it.
"You can be so annoying sometimes..and I literally hate you most times, but I guess..I-I appreciate you and care about you." I say quietly, soon pulling away from the hug.
"wow??! Who is this and who took Violet?" He asked, teasing about my well being.
"Shut it dork, or I'll take it back." I threatened him, punching his arm teasingly.
".I love you too Violet, take care of yourself." He said, soon interrupted by a red hair girl standing by the door with sympathetic eyes.
My eyes fall to the red hair girl, it was Minerva. she was back and looked a lot better and nicer than she did before.
I can say, those eyes really did fool me.
"See ya later Vi." Louis said, I didn't bother taking my eyes off Minerva.
"M-Minnie?..what are you doing here?." I asked, glancing at her expressions.
"I- I came to see you Violet..I've been thinking lately maybe I was stupid for being such a bitch to you, and not a good girlfriend or friend. Look..I don't expect you to forgive me but I'm really sorry for before." She says looking away, then locking eyes with me as she came in the door.
I looked at her in panic, soon looking away.
"Where's Clementine...?" She asked, looking at me."She left..she'll be back in 2 months.."
"Well maybe we can hang out..I know I was a bitch before, but I really want to start over..please Violet. I know Clementine left you and you need company, let me be that company." She says, her face covered in sympathy.
Fuck, I swear if she tries something...
She actually sounds like she wants to help me out. Maybe having her in my life again wouldn't be so bad.So I thought.
Weeks later
I was at a place I'd never thought I be, happy but still hurt. The happy part is because Minnie, she stayed around to keep me company and helped me get through the 'I'll forever be alone' words playing in my head everyday. They stopped, each time we were together I couldn't help but remember how good we used to be..it was scaring me.
