Chapter 10

"SIRIUS! JAMES! REMUS! Elizabeths dead!" yelled a crying Lily down the stairs. Sirius jumped up and attempted to run up the girls staircase but failed because the stairs turned into a slide. James however had a better idea and. called for his broom which he and Sirius mounted then flew up the slide. At the top they saw Lily sitting beside Elizabeth who was lying on the floor, a laugh fixed on her face, her hand where the curse had hit her. Sirius knelt down beside her and held her hand. He didn't usualy cry but this time he couldn't help it. As he touched Elizabeths fore head though he felt her hand grasp around his. He looked to Lily who had obviously experienced the same thing. Then with out warning, Elizabeths eyes shot open and she reached for her wand. Then getting to her feet she asked "Has she gone yet? Good. Pilltnus!" she called and an owl shot out of her closet an landed on her shoulder. "Take this to Harry. He needs to know and so does the future. Around a day before I jump of the bridge Will do it." and with that she turned to face the door. She walked briskly out of the room down the stairs and out into the court yard. She only stopped to look behind her Then faced the school. She took out her wand "I Elizabeth Potter solomly swear to remain here at Hogwarts as its protector. During my absences after the first war is over, my good friend Abaforth will take charge. Do you understand?" She swished her wand and on her left arm, a scar came up bearing the Hogwarts coat of arms. She looked down. Sighed then walked back into the castle. She walked back up to the common room but was stopped by two pairs of hands dragging her into a room. "Alright what just happened?" snapped James switching on the light to reveal Sirius, Lily, Remus and himself. "I...I can explain y...you see..." Elizabeth looked down. Sirius saw a tear in her eye. He walked up to her and hugged her. "Im sorry James. You too Lily. I shouldn't have kept this to myself. You see James we are related. James your my...my father." this was met by silence. "I can prove it if you want. Im from the future you see. I was sent back by a death eater so Voldormort could kill me before I kill him. you see Me and my brother. We are the chosen ones and...and" At that Elizabeth burst into tears "Lily your my mother. I always wanted to meet you both but now I... I have to watch your tourcher and... I just want us to be a normal family." Lily burst into tears as well. She ran forward and hugged her daughter. James came forward and hugged her too. "I was... was not born to live you know..."said Elizabeth through her tears... James took Lilys hand. "Show us Lizzy. Show us the future...
