Back Through Time

Chapter 11

 James felt Lilys hand grab his as they landed. He looked up to see Sirius and Remus with their arms around Elizabeth who was still shaking. He looked around himself, he was in hogwarts. "This way" whispered Elizabeth as she led them down a long narrow corridor. Remus nudged him and whispered, "Were heading for the astronomy tower!" he looked puzzled and ran of to catch up with the now ascending Elizabeth. "I wonder why she took us here?" asked Lily to James. Her question was soon answered. They could see two shapes chatting at the top. James tiptoed in further to take a look. "It's of James" giggled Elizabeth, "They cant hear you or see you." She went right up to one of the cloaked figures and beckoned them to come forward. "You have been useful to me wormtail" Hissed the first figure. James and Remus exchanged puzzled looks whilst Lily and Sirius exchanged angry ones. "Master," exclaimed the second one and he pulled down his hood to reveal a plump teenager of around 19 with blond hair. "I am always loyal to you." James pretended to barf causing Elizabeth to giggle. He was glad that he could make his daughter smile. Then he turned sadly back to his, ex friend. "Wormtail, I hope you are not lying. I want them dead you know, I want to see the light leave their eyes." Wormtails eyes opened wide at this. "Yo-ou wouldn't kill Lily would you? I thought you were just after the boy and girl?" The second figure grinned and pulled down his hood to reveal his snake like face. Lily gasped and Remus gave a little hi cup. "No I do not intend to kill Lily, My most faithful, Severus, you know the one who told me of the existence of the prophecy, begged me to spare her, however if she puts up a fight, then I will have no choice. I want Elizabeth and Harry dead before they can kill me of. The other Potter as well, James, he's just scum! I wouldn't dare let him walk the earth a minuet longer, filthy blood trator!" "My Lord!" wormtail tryed to reason "Why not let me go to them, after all I am secret keeper" "No Wormtail," Voldormort replied, "You are faithful, but not trustworthy to do anything like this, to be honest, I wouldn't be able to trust  you to sit the right way on a toilet seat." Sirius burst out laughing at the squeamish look on his ex firends face. He deserved to be taken down by Voldormort and made to feel small. They all heard a small cough from behind them and turned round. "Can we move on?" whispered Elizabeth? They all nodded.

James heard Lily gasp! "Were in the department of mysterys, we are in the prophecy room!" They all stood up and dusted themselfs down. They could see Elizabeth on the horison. They ran up to her and saw she was emotionaless. Her eyes were stony and her gaze was fixed upon a shelf. "If I'd just gotten there first!" she whispered "None of this would have happened." Then she turned to face them. "This way." she whimpered then walked forward through a few doors. They found themselfs on what looked like a duling pitch. In the middle stood a stone arch with a misty glaze in it and around it people were fighting. It took everyone 2 seconds to spot Harry and Sirius,  who were dueling Malfoy. "Well done James!" Yelled Sirius which caused harry to shoot him a look of confusion. Then suddenly a bright green light was emited from someones wand and hit Sirius, Elizabeth could see the pained expression in Siriuses eyes. She understood him, it wasn't every day that you saw yourself die.  Then a scream came from through a different door and everyone ran through it. James gasped at the sight. Voldormort was flat up against a wall and Elizabeth was punching him, pretty hard, in places one would describe as painful. "YOU KILLED HIM! MY ONLY CHANCE AT HAVING A FATHER FIGURE GONE! BECAUSE YOUR JUST TOO SCARED! YOUR JUST A COWARD!" Sirius walked up to Lily and whispered "Well we all know where she's got her temper from!". This was sent back with a slap to the right side of his face but a smile was emiting itself srom Lilys lips. "YOU'LL NEVER KNOW LOVE OR ANYTHING! YOU LIED THAT NIGHT IN THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS TOM! THEY DIDN'T DIE BEGGING FOR MERCY, THEY DIED VALIENTLY AND BRAVELY! AND IF I AM TO DIE THEN LET IT BE LIKE THEY DID, LET IT BE LIKE SIRIUS DID, LIKE CEDRIC LIKE ANYONE ELSE YOU'VE KILLED! LIKE ANYONE ELSE'S LIVES YOU'VE ENDED EAIRLIER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN!" Past Elizabeth panted "We will kill you Tom Riddle, both of us, Harry and me! You chose us to fight and we will do so valliently because we will win, but not because of our stength in battle but our stength of love, for we have something worth fighing for," Then from behind them a great wosh was heard and Corneiliys fudge stepped out of a floo place abd just like that, a very bedraggled Voldormort disappered. "He's back!" Whispered Fudge...

Whispered Elizabeth walking into the grounds of hogwarts. Lily gasped, children as young as 14 were fighting in battle, many of them were lying unconsius on the ground, proffesors they loved were dead or dying. They heard a scream from inside. They all rushed in. On the ground, aread head was lying dead and a girl with messy black hair was crying over him. She sat up and James gasped. Elizabeth was wearing clothes that looked like they had been ripped away from her several times, her lip was bleeding hevily and her head was cut from the top with what could have been a blade or peice of falling debry, Elizabeth stood up calmly. Too calmly thought Remus as she walked out of the door and walked towards the woods. But before she reached them she saw a body on the ground. Remus gasped. It was his and next to him lay Tonks. Elizabeth hugged him and set of towards the woods again. She walked into a clearing which was erialy quiet. "Ah Miss Potter!" hissed a voice from behind them. "You'll just have to make do with me Tom, Go on, kill me!" "NO!" yelled a voice. "HARRY! what are you doing here?" she asked as she embraced her younger brother. "The same as what your doing here." he replied."But you have a life to lead with Ginny, Freds dead and now I have nothing to live for."

"We both have to die, you konw that!"

"Together?"

"Together!" They placed their hands in each others and turned to face him. "The Boy and Girl who lived" hissed Voldormort "Come to die!" Lily sobbed, she knew what was coming next, "AVADA KEDAVERA!" a green light spread across the forest like a wild fire but the 5 from the past didnt see what happened next, they were back in the broom closet on the 3rd floor...
