Author's note: this story takes place in modern time and Henry recently 'broke up' with his girlfriend or rather she did. She did it for no reason and she started ignoring her best friends Alex and May.
Henry's Pov:
"I don't know what happening to her why would she do this out of nowhere"
Alex paused and put down his documents "I... I have no clue" They said simply and sadly.
"Alex.... Does it have to do with the case she has taken recently" I've been thinking this a lot lately after all after the case she couldn't even smile and look at me in the eye.
Alex's look at me clearly uncomfortable about this topic, I mean I know they had a crush on her in the past and me being her boyfriend... Author:"AcHeM! ".... Ex boyfriend it makes it worse.
"Like I said I have no clue but we till 10:00 to figure this out"
"What are you talking about? "
"Kami is going to make the biggest mistake of her life in exactly 7 hours"
I look at them in shock
"What the hell?! What is she doing"
Alex just shook their head before grabbing their jacket.
(6 hours later)
Kami's Pov:
I so sorry Henry..... I have to save You and everyone else, *sob* *sob*
A unforgettable voice rage in my head "Stupid b***h he doesn't want you" I ran down the flooded streets not caring if I got hit by a car or not
"I'm only a human...he doesn't want me" I ran to a alleyway taking a deep breath as to hide my emotions
"Kami!! "
I turned around to see Alex crying as well as May... Oh my dear friends, then I saw him "Henry" He smiled beautifully even though his eyes look exhausted from sadness... And for some reason that made me want to run up the stairs.
May's Pov:
"Alex we have to do something"
I chanted over and over till they look at me.
"Your right May" They look at Henry
And Henry nodded as they ran up the two separate stair cases unsure which one Kami took
"Please, oh god, be safe Kami"
Kami's Pov:
I heard the sound of cars on the streets and the footsteps of someone I turned around to see Alex once again
"Kami don't please"
"I sorry I can't.. I can't.. " Tears fell down my face.
"It's fine we can get through this together you and me"
"Why.. Why are you doing this? "
"Because.... "
"Because why, Alex!? "
"I love you" Everything went silent for a moment... And I smile
"I love you too.. I always have" Alex beamed happily and leaned in slowly, I savored the kiss as more tears rolled down my cheeks and Alex gasped for air and pulled away
"Kami..... How.. How could you? " I sobbed kneeling besides them as they slowly fell hand on their bloody suit gasping for air
"I'm so sorry... I had to" Alex look at me blood dripping from their mouth as they spoke "I now know what my loves worth to you" Oh Alex. I quickly stole another kiss but they push me away "please... Don't... Touch.. Me.. " Was their last words as their life faded.
A slow clap began behind me as I heard a whimper and a knife roughly removed from May's body....
"Great job princess"
I stood up "the job done, now release my brother" "Very well" A bored voice reply "but... " "But what! " "What about Henry" I turned around feeling a sudden pressure on my chest and a force on my lips.
I felt my body falling as the cuts on the back of my knees as I landed in complete pain, broken bones, and in a pile of my own blood, knife in hand.
End of Kami's Pov.
