Kai POV
I have been in a wheelchair for about 10 years now. What got in it was, I was thrown out of the car, then got his by another one. But I have gotten used to it, but if I could go back I would. Having my legs back would be the best thing, I would be able to dance again. I was dancer as long has I could remember. I always danced with my parents and sister but now I can't. Speaking of my sister, she says I need to get out more, so she set me up on a blind date with one off her friends and that's were I'm going now.
I got to the park where I'm supposed to meet them. I saw someone walking down the path. It was my sister and someone else. "Hey Kai" she said yelling at me.
"Hey Nya, who's that?" I asked rolling over to them.
"It you blind date, this is Lloyd, Lloyd this is Kai my brother", Nya said push Lloyd a little forward. We shook hands, the young man, had blond hair and big green eyes. He was cute. I noticed he was every nervous. He was shaking badly. "Will I will leave you two alone" Nya said waving good bye.
"Will What you want to do, want to go for a walk or something?" I asked starting to role down the path.
"S-sure" Lloyd said, he walk far away.
"Come on, I don't bite, I can't really reach you anyway". I said, " so Lloyd What do you do with your free time?"
"Umm, I play my Instruments and sing" he said in a quit tone.
"Oh, what instruments do you play?"
"Guitar, drums, violin, and Umm trumpet" Lloyd said.
Wow, your pretty talented, you said you sing too, wow" he blushed when I said that.
"What do you do in your free time" Lloyd said coming closer to me.
"Oh nothing much, I used to dance" I said smiling at the memory.
"If you don't mine me asking what happened to your legs?" He asked.
"Car accident, crushed my legs and my dancing dream", I said, Lloyd looked annoyed and the last part of it.
"You know you could still dance just in your chair, My mom runs a dance specifically for people in wheelchairs" he said.
My eyes widen this is what I have been waiting for my whole life. " really?" I said in shock.
He nodded, " could show you some of the dance that their learning now, I helped come up with it".
From that day on me and Lloyd danced together. We went to competition for the type of dance and I will never forget when we won our first 1st place. I said if I could go back I would but now I don't want to. If the accident never happened I would my never met Lloyd. It's just going to be me and Lloyd forever, dance along side one other.
