Chapter 6

Daisy

We left the cafe as soon as we finished our meal but not before Jack invited Scott and Styles to the wedding. They gladly accepted the invitations and assured us they would be coming.

"I don't know why you don't just admit you like the Guy. You two were obviously staring at each other the whole time we were all talking and you got completely nervous around him. Honestly Daze your so readable." Jack was giving me a lecture about not giving up my number. I didn't feel comfortable enough and I'm sure ill be seeing him soon enough.

"Jack they're already coming to the wedding. Obviously I'm going to see him again. You act like I can't give it away then..." I said. Jack turned to me and started laughing. Right before he could add a dirty comment like I knew he would I said "my number you horny teenager. I swear you have enough sex for the both of us." I spat are him.

"Excuse me for having sex in this generation!" He sassed.

"Oh you can have sex, but I'm just saying this is a pretty ironic outcome for someone who swore to God he would be a virgin his whole life."

We both started laughing uncontrollably until our stomachs hurt and our cheeks ached.

"Well, I guess we both know how that worked out."

We arived at the church just in time. Jacks mom was too into the mess of everything to igknowlegde I was there. She just grabbed her lunch and continued to bark orders at the flourist who were arranging the church.

"Your mom is in an excellent mood isn't she? She almost didn't notice me."

We started walking to the enterence of the church.

"Ya well, this is officially her wedding. Since dad and her eloped she never got a big fancy wedding. She planned it and she decided everything."

"And your cousin's fiance was ok with this?"

"Are you kidding? She begged for my moms help. The poor girl and my cousin have the same luck when it comes to parents. Erica's died when she was fifteen so that's why she's like bestfriends with my mom. I think since my mom took in Eli, Erica is practically her daughter in law now."

"Well we all know how much your mom wanted a daughter right? I mean she got pretty close with you but you werent good enough. A vigina was needed not just the sexuality." We both started laughing. Jack was as close to a girl as any. Except he did have some very masculine traits. Only at times.

We stopped right before we arrived at the door.

"Here lets go see the bachelor before e signs his life away."

We walked to hallway on the far left of the church.

"I always wondered if these things really had these rooms."

"Ya, well they have like ten of them here." Jack rolled his eyes.

I agree. Why ten? I.would think like four was more than enough.

We walked in the room to find Eli standing by the mirror anxiously pulling at his collar.

His two friends were sitting on a long white couch five feet away. Steven and Luke. Steven just turned twenty, he was good looking with his perfect smile and tall lean body. He was always a charmer in high school. He graduated two years ago and was attending UCLA. He came down for the wedding, Eli was his best friend. Luke was much older than all of us. He was twenty-seven and worked as a real estate agent here in town. Eli was really tall, I'm sure he was over six feet. He was good looking but always a little socially awkward. He only talked to those he knew and wasn't very good with strangers. He was only twenty-one but was set on marrying Erica. They met in community college on the first day of school. We all found that odd judging on his social skills. Almost three years later here they were ready to make it official.
