It was Beca's final year of college and it was pretty scary to be finishing after all these years. After an incident during her first year, Beca's dad refused to pay for Beca to go to L.A the following year. Beca was upset but Chloe reassured Beca that everything was going to be okay and she'd find another way to go to L.A. Beca trusted Chloe and ended up staying at college with her girlfriend and to Beca's surprise, she actually enjoyed it. She was still with her acapella group and they were like a family and for the first time, Beca felt accepted by all of them. After winning the ICCA Finals during her first year, Beca and the Bellas all lived in a house together - the Bellas house. It was a beautiful two-storey house with their own front and back yard. They all loved it and it was a nice change from the dorms they once had.

What made it even better was that Beca and Chloe had their own room where they shared a bed, a wardrobe, a bathroom, and everything else together. It was the first time they shared something as a couple and it was nice for both of them. Beca never thought that she'd enjoy sharing a house with anyone but Chloe but her fellow Bellas were her family and they all had a routine. Everyone had assigned chores they needed to do so the house remained clean and tidy. Beca wasn't happy that she got rostered on to do cooking every second Wednesday but Chloe helped her out so she wasn't so on edge when it came to cooking. Beca wasn't a good cook but with the help of her girlfriend and the Bellas, she was able to make multiple meals for them. They weren't the best but they were something and everyone appreciated it.

Just when they thought their college lives would never end, it was creeping up to the end of the Bellas degrees where they would all have to go their separate ways and everyone was equally terrified. They were all scared to move on but they knew they had to do it. A lot of the Bellas weren't sure what they wanted to do with their lives so they planned to just wing it and see what happened. Stacie and Aubrey planned to get an apartment together and get steady jobs until they figured out what they wanted to do. Luckily for Stacie, Aubrey was a planner so there was no winging it with her.

Beca still wanted to pursue her music career and Chloe had her heart set on being a vet, which Beca fully supported. They weren't exactly sure how they were going to get to where they wanted to be but as long as they had each other, they knew they were going to be just fine no matter what. It wasn't until one night where Beca was looking up music producing jobs that she found a place in New York that was looking for people and with Beca close to graduating with her music degree, she was the perfect candidate.

"Hey, Chlo?" Beca called out while Chloe just got out the shower.

"Yeah?"

"Come here a minute. I need to talk to you."

"Just a sec!" Chloe finished moisturising then walked out of the ensuite and over to Beca who was sitting on their bed. "What's up, buttercup?"

"Sit down," Beca tapped next to her and Chloe obeyed. "Now that we're coming to the end of the college year, I've been looking at some places who need someone to work for them - music places and I've found one."

"That's great, baby!" Chloe beamed.

"Yeah, but the thing is, it's in New York,"

"Oh,"

"And I know you don't want to go too far away from your family but... this could be my big break, Chlo. I tick all of their boxes and I'm lucky to have found it. I... I want to apply but if you don't want me to then I won't. I'll keep looking and-"

"Becs," Chloe cut her off.

"Yeah?"

"Take it."

"A, are you sure?"

"Yes," she nodded. "I know how much music means to you. I don't want to hold you back from doing something you love."

"You could never do that, Chlo. You know that." Beca told her sweetly.

"I know but this is big. This is your future and if it works out then... you'll be a star. I can't take that away from you."

"I don't want to do it without you though. I can't do anything without you."

Chloe smiled softly as Beca took her hands and kissed them.

"Come with me," Beca uttered.

"What?"

"If I get the job, come with me to New York. I want you there by my side. I'll save up some money and get us an apartment. The job pays relatively well and I'm sure there are plenty of vet clinics that are in need of vets. We can fly back to Georgia during the holidays to visit our family then come back. We can do it, Chlo. Together we can do anything remember?"

Chloe looked up into her girlfriend's eyes, loving how much hope was in them.

"Okay," she whispered.

"Okay?" Beca checked.

"This is your dream, Becs, and you know I've always wanted to explore the world a bit more and get out there so moving to New York isn't such a bad idea."

"I know it's no glitz and glamour like I promised but we'll get there eventually."

Chloe giggled softly then grabbed the back of Beca's neck softly.

"Yes, we will."

Beca smiled then leaned forward to kiss her girlfriend. Beca was terrified about her future. She had no idea if her dreams of becoming a world-famous music producer were going to come true but she had Chloe and with Chloe, she knew she could do anything. At the end of the day, it didn't matter if Beca's dream came true or not, as long as she had Chloe, she had everything she needed.
