Chapter Six - The Search for the Framer

I turned the door knob and walked inside. I closed the door behind me and the place was dark. There was a light in a different room and I walked there. A girl sat at a table, playing on her phone. I knocked on the wall of the entrance and she turned her head to face me.

'Hey, are your parents here?' I asked.

'Not at the moment. Can I help you?' She asked.

'I was wondering is your mum or dad a Sage?' I asked and she shook her head. I walked to the table and sat down across her. 

'Are you a Sage?' I asked and she nodded, not making eye contact with me.

'How did you get your powers?' I asked. She was quiet for a minute then looked up at me. 

'It was a few weeks ago now... my mum and dad took me to a fancy restaurant for my thirteenth birthday. I was eating and then a car crashed into me and my table. I was knocked out and when I woke up, I was covered in blood, my arm was broken and stuck under the table. I looked over to my parents who were... dead. Their skulls cracked open with their brains showing. I was filled with sadness and anger. I just flipped the table off me, walked to them and fell next to them. I just screamed in rage and the earth bellow me just caved in. My arm suddenly fixed itself when I touched the floor and I panicked. The police showed up and I was sent to my grandparents place. They should be home in an hour or two.' She explained.

'Wow, a girl of your age shouldn't have suffered that much. I'm sorry.' I said, not knowing what to say. It was quiet for a minute and then I cleared my throat.

'Do you mind if I just hold your hands for a second?' I asked.

'Sure.' She said and held out her hands. I closed my eyes and saw her eating at a table. The car crashed through the wall and hit the table. The table hit her head and her parents head then the table fell on her arm. I saw her get up, walked to her parents and make that crater. I saw the police came and then the vision faded out. I opened my eyes and she pulled her hands away.

'Thank you for your time.' I said and walked out. I saw Orion, Scarlett and Thea were in handcuffs and the Deputies were waiting for me. There were twenty of them, I guess it's time to use my new power. I closed my eyes and held my hands in the air. I dropped my hands and I made a crater under them. The Deputies fell to their knees and I shot small rocks at their heads, knocking them out. I walked to them and tried breaking the handcuffs. Nothing was working.

'It's made of heavy duty titanium. What are we going to do?' Orion asked. I put my hands on the handcuffs and closed my eyes. I dropped my hands and all the handcuffs just fell to the floor.

'So what can Earth do?' I asked Orion.

'Well from shooting rocks too maybe making meteors.' He said and I started laughing. 

'That is awesome!' I yelled and threw my fist in the air, the crater we were standing in went back to normal and I fell to the floor. 

'You know? The floor feels comfortable now.' I said. The floor literally felt like a mattress, it's probably the earth power. I closed my eyes and laid there for a few minutes until Orion cleared his throat. I opened my eyes and he was waiting for me, his arms crossed. I got up and we walked to the exit we came from. The door was closed again and I put my hand on the door. I lowered my hand and the door just sunk down into the floor. I strapped the ropes from the cart on my shoulders, everyone jumped in and I started running back. Two hours passed, the food and water was gone from the cart and we gave the cart to some farmer walking by. We walked back into the city and back to the hideout. We walked in and the place was trashed. The walls were broken, the titanium barrier was gone but apart from that the computer, screens and beds were fine. I clapped my hands together and took a deep breath. I shot a rock at the ceiling, the rock got stuck in the ceiling, then turned into a liquid and spread across the room. When the liquid faded away the concrete was back to normal but I felt it was double layered now. I raised my hand at the entrance and a titanium wall blocked the entrance to the hideout.
