Daniel decided that it would be a good idea for you two to go on a date; he had been on tour for 3 months and you only saw each other a couple times, so he wanted to spend some quality time with you now that he was back.
"Hey Y/N, do you want to go on a date today?" He asked as he walked into the kitchen where you were cooking.
"Sure, What are we gonna do?" You smiled at him.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." He laughed and kissed you in the cheek before walking out of the room. You rolled your eyes with a big grin on your face.
About 20 minutes later you finished putting all the ingredients you used away, and then someone came up behind you and put something over your eyes.
"Zach is that you, if it is I'm going to hurt you, I'm sick of your pranks." You wined.
"It's not Zach" Daniel laughed from behind you.
"Oh hey dani" you laughed as you tried to take the blindfold off of your face.
"Hey, you're not allowed to look" he chuckled and you felt a soft kiss on your lips.
"Where are we going?"
"I told you, it's a surprise. I have a change of cloths for you to put on when you get there."
"Ok" you smiled as you felt his hand intertwine with yours and he started to guide you out to the car.
"Are we almost there yet?" You groaned and threw your head back.
"Yes babe." He said with what seemed like a smile by his tone of voice. He always thought you were so cute in the way that you acted to childish, he just loved your youthful spirit.
"Alright, now you can take off your blindfold" he said happily as you felt the car stop. You slid off the cloth covering your eyes and your moth fell open. He took you to a gorgeous hiking trail in the hills of LA.
"Wow, I love it dani! Thank you so much!" You smiled at you kissed him.
"Of course, anything for my princess." He never ceased to make you blush and feel like you were the most important person to him.
"Alright let's get started on this hike" he said cheerily as you had just finished changing into the leggings and shirt he brought for you.
"Okie dokie" you grabbed his hand and you both started walking up the trail on the hill. You just talked about life and he told you stories about everything that happened on tour that he failed to mention during the various FaceTime calls you two had.
"Girls really threw their bras on stage?" You laughed.
"Yes, it was so weird, like are they just bringing an extra one to purposely throw at us?." He reminisced on all the good time he had on tour.
"How long is this hike Daniel?" You laughed, but you were also pretty tired. You had so far walked 1 and a half miles.
"I think we are almost to the top" he chuckled at your complaining. And just a minute later you were standing on top of the hill that looks down at LA, the sun was setting and everything was gorgeous.
"Wow Daniel, this is amazing" You said as you leaned your head on his shoulder while he put his arm around you.
"Yeah the view is absolutely gorgeous." He said.
"I've never seen a sunset so colorful." You smiled up at him.
"Oh, I was talking about you, but I guess the sunset is alright too." He smirked and you shook your head with a smile and a pink tint on your cheeks.
"You're so smooth Seavey."
"Only for you Y/L/N"
"I'm tiiiired" you sighed.
"Then sit down" he said in a sarcastic tone. You rolled your eyes and sat down on the grass and laid back.
"This is my life now, I have climbed this hill and now I will die upon it" You said over-dramatically.
"Shut up, we've only been hiking for like a half hour" he laughed loudly as a smile made its way onto your face.
"Should we head back down now? Daniel asked as he continued to run his fingers through your hair. You and Daniel had ended up laying on the grass with your head on his chest for about 15 minutes, but now that the sun had set it was starting to get dark.
"Yeah I guess so, but Dani?"
"Yes beautiful?"
"Will you carry me? You asked with puppy dog eyes. He laughed and nodded his head. You got up as he bent over for you to get on his back. He started to walk down the trail and you just rested your head on his shoulder.
"Are you sure you're ok Daniel, I don't want to hurt you." You said concerned.
"I'm fine babe" he laughed
"Well in that case, I looove you" you said smiling and leaned your head over his shoulder to kiss his cheek.
"I love you too" he giggled
