TOGETHER AGAIN [NEWTINA & JAKWEENIE]

"So..."  Newt started "the party ended." 

"Yes," Tina replied and they fell in an uncomfortable silence.

Even after being together, the awkwardness between them, hasn't gone fully. They still feel embarrassed while they are alone, despite the fact that they are now a couple.

Queenie and Jacob left for their honeymoon and with them leaving, the reception party ended. Almost every guest had left, though there weren't many — only Newt's parents, his brother Theseus, Elizabeth with her family and Achilles.

They invited Dumbledore and Melissa also but they didn't make it to the party. Melissa was facing a problem with Nagini's maledictus ability and Dumbledore was busy as there was a tournament going on and Hogwarts was hosting it. So, as a Headmaster of the hosting school, he can't leave.

Only Newt and Tina was last to leave the reception hall. They were silent for a while and was thinking what to say when Newt talked again.

"Are you going to stay tonight at my parents' house or do you want to come with me?"

"Um..." Tina bite her lower lip "well... my belongings... um... they are.... they're at your parents' house and it's a bit messy... so..."

"Oh... yeah... yeah, of course, I...uh...I understand... sure," Newt shook his head in yes and said "you... uh... can I walk you to my parents' house? It's near."

Tina looked at him and he said immediately "of-of course if you don't... mind?"

Tina smiled and nodded "okay."

Newt beamed and copied her action as he said nodding "okay..."

Newt and Tina started walking, side by side. As soon as they came to the main street, Tina shivered because of the November breeze. As she was wearing her peach colored bridesmaid dress, her arms and back are uncovered.

"Mr. Tolliver is very close to you, isn't he?" Newt asked feeling a bit anxious.

He saw Tina and Achilles at the party and they seemed to be close to him. He was tremendously jealous as Tina was laughing and talking to him freely, without being uncomfortable.

He was a bit insecure too, which he won't admit so easily but anyone who knows him could tell by his behavior. He was constantly staring at Tina and Achilles, even when his father was trying to make a conversation with him.

"Achilles is one of my closest friends," Tina replied "but that's it, nothing more than that."

Newt blushed a little understanding Tina caught his feeling of jealousy.

Tina cleared her throat and said "I um... I'm leaving for New York, this weekend."

"Wh-what!" Newt looked at her in surprise "but..."

"I only took some days off because of Queenie and Jacob's wedding... and now it's done... I have to leave." Tina said hugging herself for some warmth "besides my holidays are at the end and Madam President... ordered —"

"Oh... yes, of course," Newt murmured "I... uh... I understand."

The cool breeze was passing by, kissing Tina's bare skin, making her shiver every second. Newt noticed her shiver and took off his coat and offered it to Tina.

"Here, have it."

"Huh!" Tina looked at Newt's face and then to his hand and again to his face. "But... y-you will get cold if —"

"Don't worry," Newt smiled "we're close to my parents' house anyway and I will just... apparate from there."

Tina nodded and took his coat saying "thank you"  and put it on.
