Hey, it's me again... I'm seriously hoping that someone is following this story.

Dear someone who is following this story, I am so sorry this took so long. It was a hard couple of days for me. Anyway, here it is! The chapter 3! We are sloooowly getting there.

The sunlight is high in Rick’s room, so high that it is seeping through the blinds and illuminating the whole room, Rick yawned and rubbed his eyes, Today is the first day he’ll discover what his aunt’s town is all about. He sat up on his bed and the fogginess of his vision was slowly clearing up.

He put on his shoes and headed straight downstairs where he hopes his aunt was already awake; it would be awkward being awake while his aunt slept in. He saw her sitting on the couch with her head bowed and her hair covering half her face. “Hey, auntie?” She looked up at him and patted the seat next to her and smiled faintly, “Hey, kid.. You’re one of them heavy sleepers, huh?” She asked. Rick nodded. Chelsea ruffled Rick’s hair and said “What do you want for breakfast, kiddo?” “Cereal if you have some.” Rick cheered excitingly. Chelsea laughed quietly and said, “I’m sure a 10 year old like you would like some cereal.” “Mmm-hmm” Rick hummed. Chelsea stood up, grabbed a bowl and a box of cereal and laid them on the counter; she opened the fridge and took out a carton of milk.

She sighs deeply; Rick heard it and looked at her questioningly “Rick, I’m afraid I can’t come with you today on your tour of the town.” She said, “Its okay.” Rick smiled goofily, “I’ll just go to the playground myself” “I’ll let you this time, just be careful alright?” she asked “Yep.” He replied. After that, Chelsea walked to the living room, living Rick by himself. Once he was finished eating, he took a shower and changed to his other pair of clothes. Rick ran downstairs. Carrying the toys, he brought. It is a mix of action figures. “I’m done, Aunt Chelsea!” he exclaimed. “Can I go now?” he asks, eyes filled with hope.  Chelsea nods, “Just, be safe Rick!” “Mmm-hmm” Rick hummed in agreement, as he opened the door.

Rick ran outside, almost tripping from excitement and cradling his toys messily. He walks a few blocks, still trying his hardest to keep all his playthings from falling down. He glances to his left where he sees a small park, his eyes brightened when he saw that there are no other kids there. He looked at the street from both ways to see if it is safe to cross. He reached the park safely then he searched for a spot that is shaded by a tree, once he found his desired spot, he set down the toys he was carrying, Rick’s arms ache from holding the toys for too long, he is sweating too much that his curls are sticking to his forehead.

He sat in front of his toys, playing quietly with his action figures, he looked like he is talking to himself, but he really is just narrating the things that he thinks his action figures would say. After about 30 minutes, he laid down his toys to take a few minutes for him to just sit under the tree and relax. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a movement; it came from a bush nearby. With the logic of a 10 year old, he stood up and walked toward it.  He was not close from it when a kid about his age jumped from the side of the bush, Rick shrieked loudly, “Stay back.” The kid said.
