WHOOP, SORRY FOR THE DELAY... MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS SERIOUSLY SLOW AND I CANNOT EVEN SEARCH AN IMAGE, WTH.

The kid held-up a slingshot at Rick, a tiny pebble as his choice of ammunition. Blond bangs covering his sky blue eyes, "'m warning you." The other kid challenged. Rick held up his hand, showing a sign of submission, "sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He muttered, "'m name's Rick" He smiled goofily. Rick looks down to his toy and to the kid in front of him. "You want to play?" He grins, "Here, look I have cops and everythang." He looks up at him hopefully. "My pa said that cops are a bunch of good for nothin' pricks, Said he'll do nothin' good for us 'xcept for getting us locked up." He said, "'s not true my dad's a cop, he ain't like that." He quietly stated. The other kid scoffed, "I have to go, my pa and big bro are gunna look fo' me again." As he was about to leave, Rick catches up to him and said "Wait, you didn't tell me your name." he shouts at him.  The nameless kid ignored it and just simply kept walking.

Rick sat amongst his toys again; he played quietly for a few hours. People came and went to the park. He met a kid named Felix; they played for a few minutes until Rick's aunt came by the park and looked for Rick. "Ricky? Where are you?" Chelsea hollered, "'m here auntie." Rick waved. "Wait, Chelsea is your aunt?" Felix asked, "Yeah, why?" Rick replied. "I know her! She's pretty cool." Felix exclaimed. "Hey, Felix! I see you already met Rick." Chelsea smirks, Felix nodded. "Rick, we have to go now." She said. Rick stood up and followed her suit, looking over his shoulder at Felix and said "G'bye it was nice meeting you." He tells Felix.

The walk to their house was quiet, birds chirping and vehicles passing by were all their ears could gather. Chelsea looks at Rick, "Did you had fun, kid?" she said with a gentle smile on her face. "Yes, ma'am I had a lot of fun." Rick admitted happily with tired half-lidded eyes. They passed by strangers with disapproving looks on their faces, shaking their heads at Rick's aunt. Rick looked at her to ask, her gaze straightforward and her posture seems stressed, He does not want to pry on her private life since he was not old enough to comprehend what it was.

Once they reached the front steps of their house, she relaxed and opened the door to her home where she knows that she is far away from judging glances and piercing stares, "What's wrong, auntie?" Rick asks innocently, "Rick." She trailed off as she knelt down in front of the curly haired 10 year old. "Why were they staring at you, Aunt Chelsea?" He asks. "It's because...They think I'm not normal." She admitted, her eyes glued to the wooden floor. "I don't get it" Rick said. "Rick, sometimes a girl can...like another girl or a guy can like another guy and the thing is, I like girls, Rick that's why they think I'm not normal." She said with teary eyes. "That's silly." Rick said while attempting to cheer his aunt/best friend He wrapped his arms around her in a comforting and assuring hug, "I'll still like you no matter who you love, auntie." He said.
