"Last stop, Illmourn station," spoke a voice on the intercom. Everyone aboard the train were antsy, fiddling with their luggage and checking the time. Arthur stood among the crowd, getting a few stares from his multi colors, hair, eyes, and countless spots and spirals on his skin. He's gotten used to the stares by now and didn't mind the stares. He adjusted his grip on his bag when he felt the train slowing and heard the faint screech of the brakes. He couldn't help but feel a bit nervous though as the train pulled up to the station.
As soon as the train stopped and the doors opened, everyone poured out and Arthur managed to be one of the first ones out. When he got outside he saw that the station was a simple platform with fencing along the edge and a ticket booth. Beyond that was the small town, it looked like something out of a fairy tale. Buildings made of cobblestone and accented with dark oak wood, moss and ivy outlining the cobblestone foundation, even a little stone bridge that hung over the creek that lead towards the ocean.
A soft smile tugged at Arthur's face as he stepped off the platform and walked into the quiet town. First thing first was to find a place to sleep for the night. Hopefully this town has an inn, hotel, or even a motel. While walking, Arthur spotted a hotel at the edge of town. It looked like a giant castle to him and happily walking inside and booked a room.
When he entered his room he saw it was medieval themed as well with canopy beds and ancient looking dressers. He then placed his bags on the bed just as the sun started to set.

When she looked up at the town she gasped, definitely taken aback by the towns appearance. A bright smile then tugged at her lips "Looks like we might fit right in Gadget!" She chirped happy to her lizard who was sunbathing in his travel tank.
Without hesitation, Casey stepped off the platform and walked towards the town. While she walked down the street, she saw how ancient the town looked with cobblestone roads and the lamps along the sidewalks weren't electric. She stared in awe, a bright smile on her face. When she reached the edge of town she saw the coast and an distant island with a lighthouse standing guard. That when she saw the castle themed hotel and rushed up to the building with a bright smile, ready to book a room.

Gabe yelped in surprise when he nearly fell off the train but managed to catch himself before he fell over completely. He pushed his ginger bangs out of his face so he could actually see what's in front of him and smiled. Already he could image the stories this town had to offer and instead of searching for a place to stay for the night, he made a bee line for the nearest library.
It didn't take long for nag for Gabe to find the town's library and skimmed through all the books. Most were the more modern books but he found a few on the town's history and a few more Celtic myths. He wasted no time in checking them out before he started searching for a hotel.
The one he chose happened to be next to the coast and the building looked like it was once a mighty castle. Now it was refurbished as a cozy hotel along the cliff side. When Gabe entered his room and set his bags down, he wasted no time in pulling out the books from the library as well as his laptop.
The first page the book opened landed on the page of the Dearg Due, just as he heard a voice carried on the wind.
"Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild. With a faery, hand in hand, for the world's more full of weeping than you can understand,"
