Chapter Nine

After Deku and Bakugo's extremely intense and well-played battle and Team B vs. Team I, it was finally my Team's turn to do the Battle Trial. Seeing Deku being sent to the clinic though... it was scary.

"Let's go, Y/N-chan." Tsuyu looked at me with the look of determination evident on her frog-like face.

Tokoyami simply nodded his head. Tokoyami is the bird-headed guy with a deep voice for his age. I wonder... when he developed his Quirk, did he slowly develop his bird head as he grew up or did he just wake up one day and his head was turned into that of a bird?

These are questions that I can't simply ask somebody.

The red-headed rocky guy and the one with tape elbows approached my team from afar, both of them confidently striding towards us. I think they are the team that would be opposing mine. Team J, if I remember correctly.

"Hey! I'm Eijiro Kirishima from Team J! You're Team H, right?" He took out a hand for me to shake.

"Yes we are, I'm Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you, I hope we'll have a fair battle!" I gave him a small friendly smile— but his grip on the handshake was so firm, that my smile almost faltered a bit.

When he finally let go, I almost let out a sigh of relief "Yeah! It might be unmanly that this a three against two battle but I won't turn down a challenge." Kirishima grinned, showing his sharped, jagged teeth. He kinda looked like a shark when he does that— his hair as the fin and his teeth as... the teeth.

"And I'm Hanta Sero! Pleased to make your acquaintance!" The two of them seemed to be bursting with confidence and good sportsmanship as us two teams were making friendly introductions with one another.

All Might called us for our turn right after Todoroki, Shoji, Ojiro, and Toru came back from their battle. Todoroki's team won the battle.

My team ended up being the hero team whilst Kirishima and Sero were the villains.

"We should think of a plan before going straight into this." Tokoyami suggested and both Tsuyu and I agreed to do so.

Tokoyami suggested many plans as Tsuyu and I added more suggestions to the plan we can do. The "Easy-win" plan was to simply use my illusion to create another one of my illusion's worlds. But I still felt a bit tired after yesterday's illusion.

This was another problem that my Quirk had: the reason why I get sick after using it so many times in a row, is because I lose a great amount of stamina after creating a world out of my illusion. But if I were to simply make a small trick of the eye kind of illusion, it would save up my stamina.

So the "Easy-win" plan would be our plan B if we get desperate.

The plan we ended up with though, wasn't one I had expected.

"L/N-san! Please stop this!" Shouted Sero as he scattered his cellophane tape-like material everywhere to try and capture the real Tokoyami, Tsuyu and me out of the false ones. So far, they've only captured me since I was being immobile as I created the duplicates.

The duplicates were disappearing left and right as the real ones were still navigating their way through the building and into the nuclear core's room
