I was playing with Nico in the water. We were playing water tag, but Nico kept cheating. He wouldn't come out of the shadows, so when I got close he would shadow travel away. Then I got an idea. I tied my hair in a tight bun and dove under water. I swam near Nico and... I jumped! Bad idea, Nico had already shadow traveled away. But I had splashed and ended up hitting a very surprised Jason.
"What was that for?" He asked as I got out of the water. "Sorry Jason, I was trying to hit Nico," I said. He knew that Nico was in the shade, but was smart and said nothing. I'm a better swordsman than Percy and Annabeth combined. "Anyways, come on, the seven, Nico, Ryena and Rachel are meeting at the big house. We're allowed guests, so Percy thought of you," he said, motioning for us to follow. "By the way, I think you know who Rachel invited." My heart did a leap of joy. "Octchel!" I yelled. Nico rolled his eyes. "How are you not an Aphrodite child," he said. "Umm, yeah, haha, I don't know," I said nervously. The truth was that I lied to everyone here. I said I never knew my parents, but I know my mother. Her eyes would glow green, and the only thing she could make was burned cookies and sandwiches. Me and my brother... I shook my head. My brother was a traitor. No one was to speak of him around me. His name put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day.
When we got to the big house, I could already see my brother(half brother) And his girlfriend Annabeth. I walked in and was greeted by my favorite cousin and brother. "Draco! Hermione!" I ran up and hugged them. When we let go, I looked at all of the ships in the room. There was Percabeth, Frazel, Caleo and Octchel. The only single people were Ryena, I had no luck paring her with anyone, Draco and Hermione.
I studied the demigods who had turned up. Draco had greased back blond hair with bright blue eyes. Very different from the raven black haired kid I know. The kid I know had messy hair and ocean blue eyes. Hermione had brown frizzy hair and light blue eyes instead of blond, strait hair and grey eyes.
"Hey, why do you look so different?" I asked. Hermione pursed her lips."Tell ya latter cuz," she said. Chiron stamped his hoof to signal that the meeting had begun. Everyone had taken the seats, so I sat on the table."As you all know, Mythology is real, and hidden from mortal eyes. Well, there is another secret in this world. In ancient times, Hecate blessed a group of friends with the power of magic. They've grown into a large group of witches and wizards." I nodded. I'v seen weirder things than that."What does this have to do with us?" Percy asked. "Glad you asked that, Percy,"Chiron said."I want you to go see if we can make a union with them."
My mouth fell open. "Wait a minute. We have to go fit in with people who can do magic? We're demigods, not magic!" Draco snickered. Then it all clicked into place. "Oohh. Some demigods can do magic," Chiron nodded. "Very good. Athena gave you wisdom i'm guessing?" I nodded. I looked at Draco. I saw a snake on his pin.
"What's with the snake?" I asked. Draco looked at his pin with disgust. "My house. I'm Slytherin, the worst house." I was confused. Draco was a good person. Why did he get the worst house? "Why are you in Slytherin? Your a good kid," I said. Hermione spoke up. "He had to. I was told to go to Gryffindor, and Draco had to go to Slytherin."
"Anyways," Chiron said "You should be going." Annabeth spoke up. "Shouldn't we get wizard stuff?" Hermione smiled. "Not to worry cuz, Revelo!" she said, waving a stick in the air. Trunks showed up with everyone's face on them. A stick lay on the trunks. "Wands, I'm guessing." They nodded. I walked over to the trunk with my picture. When I saw myself, I almost cried. I looked so much like him. The lopsided smile, the mischievous twinkle in my eyes. I ripped the picture off and crumpled it up.
Percy stared at me. He grabbed the photo and unfolded it. "Hey, you look a lot like..." I tapped the gem on my ring. It transformed into a gold hilt knife, the blade a mix of imperial gold, stygin Iron and celestial bronze. The same gem in the middle of the knife. He shut up. I grabbed the wand and stuck it in my pocket and picked up the trunk.
I tapped the gem on my knife. It turned back into a ring. I put it back on my finger. "So.... How do we get there?" I asked. Hermione pointed to the fire place. "We travel by floo powder." Draco pulled out a flower pot. Hermione grabbed a powdery thing from inside. She stepped into the fire place and threw the powder on the embers while yelling, "Platform 9 3/4!" She disappeared into the flames. Draco handed it to me. "Do what she did and don't get out until you see Hermione." I took my trunk, some powder, pecked Nico on the check, stepped into the fire place and did what Hermione did. Thousands of fire places passed. Finally, I saw Hermione. I stepped out and waited for everyone else.
When everyone got here, Draco and Hermione led us to the train that would take us to Hogwarts. When we got there, we looked for somewhere to sit. Eventually, we found two boths next to each other. Ships, Ainico, Percabeth, Jasper and Frazel sat in the left. Caleo, Octchel, and the singles sat on the right. A few hours later, a castle came into view. We got out and walked over to Professor McGanagall. She told us to wait for her signal to come in and be sorted. We walked to big wooden doors. And waited.
