CAMILA'S P.V.
Camila was pretty excited to spend some time with Lauren in a car. She was also kind of nervous, but to be honest who wouldn't be? She had just met this girl and she is now getting into a car with her; for all she knew, she could be a serial killer and was waiting for the next victim to arrive, that victim being Camila. What was she even thinking? She was making herself nervous without needing to be. For some strange reason, she trusted Lauren. She could even say that she maybe trusted her more than what she trusted both of her parents.
Lauren grabbed Camila's hand to take her to the parking lot where her car was located. This took Camila off guard and instantly blushed. She felt every kind of butterfly in her stomach at that moment, she couldn't even explain to herself how she felt; and she had only touched her hand, imagine how she would feel if she touched something else.
Lauren was walking kind of fast, so Camila had to jog just to keep up with her. She didn't want to let go of her hand so she just had to stick with that.
Lauren unlocked her car with a click of a button, making a very loud sound. Camila got scared and jumped and held onto Lauren. It was kind of a natural reaction for her, which made it even weirder. Camila's eyes narrowed and she quickly got off Lauren.
- Oh god - she put her hand onto her face and sighed - I'm so sorry.- Camila said in a quite sad tone.
-No, no, no don't be sorry honey.- Lauren said while putting her hand in Camila's arm, she sounded like she genuinely cared. And that made Camila happy.
Camila smiled and opened the car door, getting in, mesmerized at how clean Lauren's car was. Because Camila's car was a complete mess.
-So?- Lauren said getting in the car. - You just moved in didn't you?.- She said.
Camila looked at her and made eye contact with her. She was right, she did have the most beautiful eyes in the world. Camila froze for a second but instantly composed herself since she heard Lauren asking a question.
-Yes.- Camila said rather quickly but then composed herself. - I used to live here when I was growing up, but I instantly moved once I was old enough.- Camila stopped and looked at Lauren, that was watching her interested in what she was saying, so she decided to continue.
-My parents suddenly left Miami and left the house to my name.- Camila ended the small section of her story and made eye contact with Lauren once more. She could still not believe the beauty of the woman right in front of her. How her eyes matched perfectly with her pale skin, and how her dark hair fell almost perfectly. She was mesmerized by her.
-That explains a lot of things.- Lauren said before starting up the car, not letting Camila ask anything about what she meant. Where they bad things? Or good things?
-We are going to a store I really like.- Lauren said while putting the car in reverse and moving it. -It is kind of far away, but they sell my favorite things there.- She said with a smile and looked at Camila. - Is that okay with you?-
Camila was surprised that Lauren had a favorite store, since she looked like a person that didn't care about where or when she bought things. But that was obviously not the only reason she was surprised. The simple fact that Lauren was okay with spending some time with her was what did it.
-Yeah, it is fine.- Camila looked at Lauren and smiled. - That way we can get to know each other better.- Camila winked at Lauren and looked back at the window.
She could feel that Lauren had continued driving and decided to make a conversation. Anything would be fine with her really. They could be talking about cemeteries and Camila would be happy because she is listening to Lauren's voice.
-So... Did you also grew up here in Miami?- She said with genuine interest in her voice.
Lauren gave Camila a sad smile and sighed. - Not really.- Lauren gave a small pause and then continued. -I grew up in Los Angeles, but moved here around six years ago.- Lauren smiled weakly.
There was an awkward silence and Camila wasn't sure if she said something she shouldn't have. But apparently Lauren catched on.
-So Camila, anyone special in your life?.- Lauren said smiling widely.
Camila wondered why she would even ask that, but she didn't care. A small part of Camila wanted to say Lauren, but she knew that wasn't true. And it was probably never going to be reality.
Camila bit her lip and looked at Lauren. -Not really to be honest.- Camila then looked at the window and started to feel emotional. -How about you Lauren, you have probably have had many boyfriends.- Camila joked, but at the same time not wanting it to be truth.
LAUREN'S P.V.
Lauren sighed not wanting to tell Camila the truth about herself. But she wanted to be honest with Camila, she felt like she had to be honest with her. -I don't like guys to be honest, Camila.- Lauren said and decided to park in the side of the road. Mostly because she was starting to fell something weird.
Camila looked at Lauren with bright eyes. - You don't?- Camila said in an almost hopeful tone of voice.
Lauren looked at Camila, trying to look at her eyes, but her eyes made her look at the smaller girl's lips. - Yeah, I don't.- Lauren said almost whispering. She then put her hand in Camila's leg -Do you?-
Lauren made eye contact with Camila, waiting for a response. She wished and prayed that she said that she didn't like guys.
- I don't.- Camila said getting closer to Lauren's face. Looking at her lips, and getting closer and closer. And then it happened...
*;) Don't worry my kids, you will know what happened next time. *
