awoken from a hollow sleep
a silky void
only to meet a greater absencespiders spin webs in my chest
while my heart thrashes and writhesif I could
I would rest on the ceiling
and admire the noveltybut even a droopy-eyed fool knows
to simply swipe one's slate clean
is nothing more than a pipe dream
