"We need to talk" Part 2

Lorrie's POV:

I went to knock on the door for the first time in too long. I heard them cheering inside and running to open the door. I was swept up by Jay and he twirled me around in the air. "We missed you so much love!"  I misseed you too Jay." I said through giggles. Max came over and hugged me. "You need to talk to both of them." He whispered in my ear. I gave him my best "I know" look and went over to give Siva a hug. "Nathan's hurting too. Don't forget that."  I gave Tom a hug while he shouted, "We're throwing a party in honour of Lorrie being back!"  Everyone cheered except for Nathan. "I missed you Mr.Tom Parker."  "I know, you missed me the most." He smiled at me smugly. "In your dreams Parker." I went over to Nathan, and he squeezed me so tightly, I could barely breathe. But it felt right. I felt like he loved me again, like I wasn't just a nobody. "We need to talk." He whispered. "I know."  "Nathan, Lorrie got get food. Jay, Siva, dessert. Max and I will arrange the house and the guests." Tom was shouting. He seemed excited but I know inside he was hurt. "Well, I guess we're getting food then." Nathan smileed at me and held out his hand. I took it, but as we walked out of the door I felt Tom's eyes on our hands. We got into the car and he put his hand on my knee. "How does your leg feel?"  "Fine it's just akward since they're on different levels. Why?"  "I just wanted to make sure you were ok."  We got out of the car and walked into the store. "Can we get SpagBol? Please??" Nathan looked at me like an excited puppy. "Sure, we'll make SpagBol. You're lucky its one of my favorites. He held out his hand and I took it. We walked over to the noodles section and grabbed some spaghetti. He walked over to the meat counter and grabbed some ground beef. I ran to get tomato sauce, when I saw some Mike's Hard Lemonade. I grabbed 2 packs and brought them over to our basket. "Oh, Mike's Hard Lemonade fan? Good choice."  "Well you seem happier than you were before." "I'm getting SpagBol tonight! How could anyone be unhappy?" He can be so ridiculous sometimes. We grabbed some other drinks and some crisps. We went to the register and Nathan started to get out his wallet. "No. I'm paying."  "No way, this is a party for you silly. That means you can't pay." He tapped me on the nose. I felt like kissing his cheek, but that wouldn't be right. "Fine, but I'm paying for groceries next week." He laughed. "Ok, but you know that's not going to happen." we walked out of the store. "Says the Baby Nath."  I looked up at him. "Says the boy who never stopped loving you." He leaned in to kiss me and I leaned into him. He kissed me softly on the lips. I heard cheering and broke the kiss with a smile. I looked around to see Jay and Siva beaming at us by Jay's car. Nathan looked at me and smiled, wrapping his arm around my waist. It felt just like before we broke up. I missed it. "Are you two, you know, back together?" Jay looked at us. "Not exactly." Nathan loosened his grip on my waist and tried not to smile. "Well it's good to see you happy agian Nath." Jay winked at Nathan, while Nathan glared back, Jay knew I was watching.Jay and Siva proceeded into the store whispering and giggling. When they were gone, we both burt out lauging all the way to the are. "Are you inviting anyone special to the party Nath?"  "No one, just whoever Tom invites. Why did you have someone in mind?"  "I just miss Karla. I wish she would just come visit me already."  I looked down at my lap. He said something but I wasn't listening. They told me at the hospital. He deserved to know. I had to tell him sometime. Just not now. He cleared his throat. "Yeah, sorry what did you say?"

4 Hours Later (around 7 pm)

Lorrie's POV:

"Can we please just make the SpagBol now? Please?" "Alright, alright, as long as I get some."  "Fine, I'll leave you some." He replied jokingly.  I filled a pot with water and put it on the stove. He handed me the box of noodles. "Lorrie, I think I still love you." I felt my throat catch." "Nathan, we can't keep doing this. You say you love me but then something happens. I saw more of you today. The real you. The you I want to see everyday. But I'm just not sure. I'm not saying I don't love you, but we can't just suddenly have these moments like this. You say you love me, we kiss, then we piss each other off. It just doesn't work." He looked sad. I put my hand on his shoulder. "Will you ever give me a second chance?"  I sighed. "I would always give you a second chance. Just not yet Nath. I'm not ready yet." The water started to boil so I got back to the cooking and poured in the noodles. Nathan started on the sauce as I strained the noodles.  "Do you realize that you mean everything to me? I would die for you Lorrie." "Nathan, I want to give us a second chance. I just can't yet."  "I'd wait forever for you." He put the sauce in a container and walked out."  I poured the sauce over the noodles and put cheese on it just like Nathan likes it. "Food's ready!!" I called out. Jay, Tom and Siva came running out of their rooms while Max took his time. "Thanks Lorrie. You're the best!" Tom said. I took two bowls up to Nathan's room, one for me and one for him. When I got outside of the door, I could hear him crying. I knocked. "Lorrie?"  "It's me Nathan."  He didn't respond. I opened the door and he was sitting on his bed, his eyes puffy but gorgous still. I handed him the SpagBol but he didn't touch it. "Nathan please eat it. I know it's your favorite." He just stared at his feet and didn't move. I grabbed the bowl, lifted it up to him and started to dip the fork into it. As the fork got closer to his mouth, he opened up. I put the fork down quickly and met my lips to his. He opened his eyes in suprise but quickly shut them. I pulled away and smiled at him. "That's for making me worried about you."  "I should worry you more often" He chuckled. I smiled at him and picked up my bowl of SpagBol. I was starving. He watched me eat but didn't pick up his bowl. "You need to eat Nathan. I don't want you to starve." He picked up the bowl and ate slowly. When he was finished I put my head on his chest and I felt him shudder from crying. "The guests have arrived!" Tom yelled up the steps. I'm just going to go get changed. I took out my favorite little black dress from the closet we used to share and went to change in the bathroom. I walked out and Nathan was half naked about to take off his pants. "Sorry."  He just smirked. I grabbed my Crisian and McCaffrey heels, Nareesha gave me and walked out to his snickering. I walked out unbalanced with one heel on, but it made the height less akward. "You look gorgeus Lorrie." Tom beamed at me from the bottom of the steps. "There's someone here who wants to see you." I walked into the kitchen and saw Karla. We both screamed and ran to hug each other. " I thought you weren't visiting till next month."  "Suprise! And I'm doing more than just visiting. I'm moving here! I was hoping we could share an apartment." I looked to Tom. He nodded. "Well, I kind of live here. But you could take the guest room if you want."  "You live with them?! That's so cool! Are you sure that's ok?" she looked over at Tom. He smiled at her. "You're the best Lorrie." She hugged me tightly. Nathan came downstairs and I almost gasped. Tom saw my reaction and frowned. "Looking sharp Nathan. Almost too sharp." Tom said coldly. "Thanks Tom, you look nice too." Tom glared at him. "Lorrie, I'm going to have to take Karla and Nathan away from you. Don't leave the kitchen." "Ok, I don't get it, but ok." They walked out and Karla winked at me. I waited until I noticed the house was silent. Did everyone leave just to trick me? I walked out to the living room. "Welcome back!" everyone screamed and I almost fell backwards. I felt myself smiling and walking towards the boys. "You guys are the best. I love you guys."  "We love you too Lorrie." We went in for a group hug. After we broke  apart, Tom broke open a bottle of champagne and we all cheered. I noticed Karla talking to Jay and winked at them. Karla glared at me but Jay gave me a thumbs up. 

20 minutes later..

I'd had one or two Mike's Lemonades and ran upstairs to find Nathan. I walked in to see a girl kissing him on what used to be our bed. I ran out of the room and slammed the door. Tom saw me upset as I rushed out the door. He grabbed my wrist. "Leave me alone Tom."  He wouldn't let go. I dragged him with me out the door and he followed me to a park bench down the street. I broke down crying and Tom put his arm around me. "What happened? Did Nathan do something to you again?"  "He was kissing another girl in his bedroom."  "I would never do something like that to you. I would love you with everything I had. You would always come first." He rushed forward and kissed me. I was about to pull away when Nathan came running over to us.
