*Katie's POV*
"One, two, three,..." Everyone ran in different directions as Ryeowook started counting. Leeteuk and Siwon ran to the other side of the pond, Kangin ran towards the front of the cabin into the woods as Hangeng ran to the cabin's right, while Sungmin and I ran into our room.
"Hurry, hurry!" I squealed in nervous excitement as I grabbed my swimsuit, toiletries, and towel off of my bed.
"I know, I know!" Sungmin grabbed his things from beneath his bed, and together we took off out the door and down the path with three cameramen.
"Thirty-one, thirty-two..." I could still hear Ryeowook counting off by the outhouse.
"Faster!" Sungmin hissed and we took off down the path at top speed, until we knew for sure that we couldn't be heard, or seen from the cabin. "Wahh! That was so close!"
I nodded my head in agreement and reorganized my things. After the relay race had ended and we had gotten Ryeowook out of the golf cart, which took an hour to accomplish, Sungmin and I had discovered a bath house near the bungee jump and had decided to take our showers there instead of washing in the algie and bug infested pond. So Sungmin recommended a game of hide and seek to the others, which they agreed to, and had quickly gathered our things for the ditch before we began to play.
It really was an amazing plan.
So, as we walked down the path, neither of us said a word. It was kind of awkward, since we never really talk to each other. I mainly talk with Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Siwon, Leeteuk, Henry, and the occasional Yesung and Donghae. The last time Sungmin and I had really had a conversation was when he was trying to take my phone the first day we had met, and that was mostly yelling and pouting.
"So..." I looked up at Sungmin expectantly as he spoke. "How's it been for you here in Korea?"
I gave him a look before answering. "Good. Everyone here has been treating me well." *Well, except for Taylor and Baehyuk.* I thought.
"Good, good, good." I glanced up at him when he stopped talking and shared awkward eye contact before we both looked away and started laughing.
"This is really awkward." I giggled. After a few minutes of trying to compose ourselves, Sungmin and I were able to walk in a straight line beside each other. There weren't really any more words passed between us, because it still was too awkward to speak.
As we walked, Sungmin nudged me. "Do you hear that?"
"Hear what?" I asked, looking at the woods surrounding us.
"Our team is calling for us." He laughed. I tilted my ear, and sure enough, I could hear Kangin and Leeteuk calling for us.
"Let's just ignore them." I recommended. "They won't be too mad i-" I paused mid-sentence when Yesung's team jumped out of the bushes beside us. "Yah, wha-" I stopped again when Eunhyuk and Shindong tackled the surprised Sungmin, and I was suddenly slung over Heechul's shoulder and was carried away, leaving my things and the stunned Sungmin laying on the ground behind us.
---
This is soooo stupid! I can't believe Yesung's team kidnapped me by ambush and I can't believe they locked me in Eunhyuk's and Donghae's bedroom with Kibum guarding outside the door!
They even took my phone.T~T
"Yah!" I shouted. "This is so stupid! Who's bright idea was this, Heechul's?!" There was no reply from Kibum. "It was his idea, wasn't it?" Still no reply, just the faint sound of a sigh. "Ah, this is so stupid!"
I walked to the balcony doors and looked out to the dark campsite far below. *Wait, this goes to every door on this side of the cabin, right?* I figured in my head. I looked to both sides of the door, and sure enough, the balcony stretched to both ends of the side of the house. "Please tell me they were stupid enough to leave the doors unlocked." I turned the doorknob, and sure enough, it opened. "Ah ha!"
