Chapter 8 Practice

*Siwon's POV*

I felt slightly disappointed when Jung Hoon hyung called and told me to go to the practice room. It was one of the few days I had off. But it's for the benefit of the group. I put my shoes, hat, and sunglasses on and checked my watch. It was 2:50. *Katie will be about ready to leave school. I should tell her no one will be home.* I found her number in my contacts and called her.

After a few moments, her soft voice answered. "Hello?"

"Katie, this is Siwon." I answered.

"Oh oppa! Why are you calling? You know I'll get in trouble."

Oh no. I forgot about that. "I know. I just wanted to tell you I have to go to SM to practice for a performance we'll have in a few weeks, so no one will be home. Do you have your keys?"

"Yes oppa I do." She said holding down a laugh. What's so funny? Maybe she found a friend.

"Alright then. See you in a few hours." I hung up. After about 10 minutes I reached the gates to SM. Fans swarmed me, and when they asked, I gladly signed my autograph. The security helped me through the crowd and into the gates. I waved bye to the fans, who screamed, and went through the parking lot inside SM.

I took one of the elevators to the 3rd floor and walked down the hallway. I could hear the faint sound of music from the practice rooms I passed. I went in one of the doors on the left, and saw the members sitting around talking to each other. Heechul hyung was the fist to notice me. "Oh, Siwon's here." Everyone looked at me, and I said hello.

"So what are we practicing for?" I asked while sitting on the floor by Donghae hyung.

A smile spread on Leeteuk hyung's face. "We're going to have a performance at Katie's school."

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Really? What's the occasion?"

"Well the school is having a Welcome Back dance for the students. I saw a paper for it in a shop window a few days ago. Earlier today I asked Jung Hoon hyung about it. He checked in with the school and found out that they needed a group to perform, so he told us that we will be performing there." Leeteuk hyung explained. "We have to choose 11 songs to perform, and will have half an hour of chat time with them."

"We're only going to do a 11 songs because there will be boys there too, so we'll perform at the end of the dance." Yesung pipped in.

"Okay. So do we have any chosen songs yet?" I asked.

"So far we have Sexy, Free, and Single, Miracle, Mr. Simple, and Bonamana." Kangin hyung said. "We need 7 more."

"How about a slower song?" Ryeowook suggested. "That way they can have a slow dance."

"Super Junior KRY and Sungmin hyung could do What If." I suggested.

They all nodded. "Lets do that." Sungmin hyung decided. "Henry and Zhou Mi should be here by then. (A/N: hint, hint) We could do Break Down." We continued to discuss which songs we would do. After 8 minutes, it was decided that we would do, in order, Mr. Simple, Sorry Sorry, Miracle, Bonamana, Sexy, Free, and Single, What if, Oppa Oppa, No Other, U, It's You, and Break Down.

"Alright, lets practice!" Leeteuk hyung said jumping up from his seat. We spent the next 3 hours practicing the songs non-stop.

My mind started to wander to Katie. Is she alright? Did she find her way home okay? Did her day at school go okay? I could tell the others were thinking the same thing. "Okay. Lets quit for today." Leeteuk hyung announced. We all cheered, showered and changed, and got in the vans. I sat in the one van with Donghae, Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Sungmin hyungs, and Kyuhyun. I took the driver's seat, and listened to the others' conversations about random things as I drove us home.
