We were sitting in the music studio waiting for Marcus to arrive. I was sprawled across the couch wondering what he possibly wanted from us this time. I looked over to the boys to see them playing Truth or Dare. They could be so childish sometimes.

"I dare you to bark whenever you hear your name." Joel had just told Aaron, who had a spark of excitement in his eyes. I smirked to myself knowing this was going to get out of hand soon.

Just then the door flew open and in came Marcus talking away on his blue tooth and texting at the same time. "Yep." He was saying, "That sounds great, but I want you to double the security this time we don't want a repeat of what happened last time." He listened to what the person was saying on the other end of the phone before snapping "Just do it!" shutting off the phone and turning towards us with a big smile on his face. "Boys!" He exclaimed, as if we were the best thing he's ever laid eyes on. "I'm glad you're here, I have big news!"

Looking up to him expectantly, we waited until he spoke but he had other plans because he continued talking as if we weren't impatient enough. "This is going to be great, we'll make so much money!" Now he was muttering to himself. "Hey Marcus, would you like to let us in on what your babbling about?" Aaron asked. Marcus turned to him and beamed. "Aaron you wou-" But before he could finish that sentence Aaron let out a loud bark that left the room silent before we all burst out laughing.

Marcus was obviously so confused by the expression he had on. "Uhm.. ok..I don't want to know what that was about so I'm not going to ask." He looked at us before smiling again. "Anyway, guess what?!" he asked. When nobody answered he continued talking, "Never mind, I'll just tell you." He paused for dramatic effect. "Just spit it out!" We all yelled at the same time.

"Ok, ok. What would you say if I told you that you will be preforming at this years most watched award ceremony." I gaped at that, he couldn't be talking about what I thought he was talking about.. could he? As if reading my thoughts he said, "Yes boys, I'm talking about the AMV's."

Moments of silence followed before we all broke out into whoops and hollers. I couldn't believe this. Our dreams of success just got better. "Now, since you're already here lets practice the new song and then you can come back tomorrow to record." He quickly got back into business mode.

The next morning I woke up earlier than I'm used too and headed over to the recording studio with the boys. The whole time we were driving Joel, Seth and Aaron were texting in the backseat while me and Cole sat chatting in the front. By the time we reached the studio none of the guys had even looked up from their phones.

I frowned wondering who they were talking to. Not realizing I had voiced my question out loud they responded with "Cleo." I turned around abruptly and looked at the boys, "Why?" I asked confused. They looked shocked as well. "Whoa, you didn't know each of you were talking to the same girl?" I asked and then burst out laughing. I knew that girl was bad news. "See this is what happens when you don't listen to me, this girl is playing all of you and you're all falling for it." I told them, frustrated with their actions.

"That's not true Levi, Cleo is really sweet." Seth argued. I groaned to myself. I cant believe they were still protecting her. "Yeah, and funny as hell." Aaron grinned. "Man, if she is what you say she is then tell me why she declined your numbers in the first place and then gave you hers when you met again." I paused waiting for what I said to sink in. "Shes messing with your minds."

Satisfied that I got my point across I pulled into the drive way and unbuckled my seat belt. "She probably just saw potential." Joel spoke up. But before I had time to slap him upside the head for that comment, I noticed a petite green eyed brunette sitting on the bench outside of the doors to the studio.

"Who invited her?" I asked menacingly. I didn't have time to put up with this girl and if she thought that she was going to create drama in our group than she had another thing coming to her. "That would be me." Aaron said walking towards her without giving me a second glance. Sighing I followed him with the rest of the guys.

As we walked closer I could see this Cleo chick more clearly. She was wearing a pair of white shorts and a green tank top that matched her eyes. Her hair sat in ringlets on her shoulders and fell behind her back. She looked stunning. Whoa, wait. Where had that thought come from? This girl had no pull over me.

I was shaken out of my thoughts when I noticed everyone looking at me expectantly. I frowned, "what?" I asked but before anyone could open their mouths I opened the door to the studio and walked in slamming the door behind me. I don't know what was wrong with me, all I knew was that Cleo seriously pissed me off and what made me angrier was that all the boys were head over heels with her. Ugh! I let out a frustrated groan.

I entered the control room where Marcus was sitting patiently waiting for us. "Levi. There's my favourite super star." He said grinning before he turned around and noticed our special 'guest' who had just walked in with the rest of guys. "And who might this lovely lady be?"

"A nuisance." I mumbled under my breath but I guess it wasn't low enough since I got a heated glare from Cleo when she walked across the room to give Marcus a handshake. "Hi, I'm Cleo." She introduced herself. "I hope I'm not a bother, the boys here invited me." She smiled sweetly at Marcus. "Don't worry about it sweetheart." He assured her. "You ready boys?" That part directed at us.

"As ready as we'll ever be." Cole told him from behind as we made it into live room where we were going to preform to our audience of two. When we were ready, I gave Marcus a thumbs up while the song rolled out of us. It was a slower song, different then our usual image, about letting go of your fears but it was really relatable and I enjoyed writing the lyrics.

When we finished, Marcus ranted about how this song was going to be our next hit and sold in stores all over. I excused myself to go get a drink of water and left. As I was getting a water bottle from the mini fridge across the room where the leather couches were, I felt a warm body behind me. I turned to see Cleo staring at me intently. I raised an eyebrow as if to ask her what she wanted and she in retuen blushed and looked at the floor. Oh please, don't give me that Innocent act, I thought.

"I just wanted to say the song was really great." She looked up at me through her eyelashes. "You sounded really great." At this point any guy would take the time to smile and thank her but little did she know that I wasn't just some guy. I smirked at her, a smirk that would have any other girl falling to their knees. "I know" I said and pushed past her satisfied with her shocked face. But I didn't get very far because a hand wrapped around my arm and yanked me back. Man, this girl was strong.

She leaned up so she was talking into my ear and whispered "Listen, I don't know what your problem with me is but I was just being polite. The least you can do is stop being an ass and accept the damn compliment." Someones feisty. I yanked my arm out of her grip that was getting tighter by the second and whirled around. "No, your the one that should be listening. I don't know what game your playing but you need to stop before you do something you're sure to regret." I hissed.

I was getting angrier and angrier. Who did she think she is, coming in here and acting like she owned the place and expecting me to fall for her act. Like hell! "I have no idea what you're talking about or what game you think is going on in that pretty little head of yours but get over yourself rock star." She shot back and then went to stand next to Joel, who being the flirt that he is, instantly put his arm around her shoulders.

A bunch of emotions were running through me and I just wanted to walk over there and, and ugh! I groaned. I would never hit a girl, but if she wasn't going to play nice and heed my warning then two could play at this game.

When I walked back to the group Seth came to stand next to me. Apparently he had witnessed that whole scene with Cleo because he leaned in and asked "What was that about?" Without hesitating I looked over to were Cleo was standing, winked at her and told Seth "She thinks I have a pretty head."
