BEHIND THOSE EYES

Chapter two

※Beckinsale Estate※

"Vanessa dear,how did your day as a senior go?" Mr Beckinsale asked his daughter as they were all relaxing in the den after dinner.

"It was amazing dad, i could feel the authourity flowing into me, and we had lots of fun too." She dropped the book she was reading and said excitedly to her dad.

"Don't let the power get to your head sweety." He warned her.

"Dad, can i ask you a favour?"

"Sure."He put the magazine he was reading aside as Vanessa sat on his lap.

"Can i host a party here?"

"What sort of party?" He raised his eyebrow then looked at her.

"Hmm,just me and the girls...and a few friends celebrating for sticking together all these years and the fun of senior year."

"Will there be any alcohol?"

"Oh daddy,you know there's no party without booze"

"Then no."

"Ohh daddy,please don't do this to me"She pleaded

"I said no" he said firmly.

"Honey,allow her,its just a small party.They are not going to blow the roof off." Her mum finally joined her in persuading her dad.

"The only way I'm allowing my daughter go near any alcohol is with a chaperone. ”
“Aww but dad...
“That is my condition, it's either you promise not to provide any alcohol or you do your party but with a chaperone present to make sure there would be no alcohol present. ”
“Fine dad,no alcohol,i promise. ” Defeated, she finally stopped persuading her dad.  She got off of her fathers lap and back to her couch  and with her fingers crossed behind her back she promised to keep alcohol away from the house.
“But... ”
“Aww, what else daddy? ”She grumbled under her breath with her arms crossed and feet crossed , she sank further into the couch waiting for the next blow. ”
“Anything else you want you can have all expenses on me. ”

"Ohh thank you, thank you, thank you! Anyway I thought it was already obvious all cos was on you my sweet handsome father" She showered her dad with kisses joyfully.Her father managed to get her off his lap. "Just make sure to keep them from my antiques.If they break anything, no more parties for you"

"I promise."She gave him a final kiss then picked up her phone already dialling her friends numbers to break the news to them.

"So when is this party going to take place?" her mother asked her.

"Two days from today,if you're both okay with it."

"No problem honey"her mother agreed.

"Nessa,can we come to the party?"Kaila asked her big sister.

"No kids allowed Kaila" Vanessa shoke her head .

"But i'm ten,i'm not a kid" She frowned and said a little aggressively.

"Mom,i need help here"Vanessa called for mum.

"Kaila baby, have you already forgotten that day will be your night out.We'll go to lots of places and have fun with your dad and brother."

"You can have your party,you are the one going to miss all the fun"Kaila walked away from her sister and joined her brother on the rug in the middle of the room to play with him.

"Ok, time for bed, up up." their mum said a few minutes later and they all climbed the stairs to their bedrooms.
