Willis Bartholomew Mikkelsen was the king of Espira along with his lover Mystic, there's not much that is known about him except that he was murdered visiting Remos. That's where we will discover him, in this little story of ours. He is a sweetheart towards his family, but if there was any sort of threat that would hurt his family or friends he becomes a complete cold hearted killer.
He was born with blonde hair and strange orangish-red eyes, no one knows how that happened but his children I.E Emrys and Chance inherited these eyes. He is also six foot five.
He is not apart of Mystic's bloodline due to the fact he only married her, he did take her surname.
He put his family before himself no matter what happens, Willis is a kind man at heart but he always will put his family first and foremost. He's respectable, kind, like a leader of some sorts, being the king after all, he is loving and helpful to anyone and everyone. That's what made him so loved with other people around the nation.
However, there were countries that absolutely despised the king. One of those kingdoms was Remos, the kingdom where Emmett lives or rather, lived, of course. Now it all seems kind and friendly but ey, these were just some kingdoms that despised one another.
Willis wasn't willing to have a war because it would put the whole country in danger! So guess what he did? He went to Remos to settle things with the King and Queen, unfortunately as soon as he set foot on the soil of Remos. Things were already stirring up for his downfall.
The Queen was not on board with this bullshit because she's seen Willis as a kind man and a king that they could have aid in if Remos were to ever have a war with another country.
Willis stayed there for a couple of days, on Emrys and Chance's birth. The king invited him to a feast, unknowing to him that in that room his throats would be slit and it would end up as the death that Espira mourned.

Being a bisexual and As cheesy as it would sound. Willis fell in love with Mystic the first moment they met, when they were around 600 years old. They both became good friends when they first met...then Mystic met Eva. It made him absolutely hurt in the time of what happened but he made no decision to go against their love. So he kept his distance like any one would to see their love happy. Then Mystic came of age, eventually...they fell in love once more when they married. He couldn't be more happier for it...they had three children together and he didn't know of the latter two. If he could then he would be happy just to know that his children and former wife are happy.
