It was the end of the day. I was helping my uncle close up the shop. The whole day I was just thinking about Noah. I don't know why. I had been trying to get him out of my mind but I couldn't. It's like he has glued himself into my brain, my thought, into my mind.

"Kailani, come here." My Uncle called.

I walked to the back of the shop, into the storage area. My uncle was in the very back. Waxing a board, probably getting it prepared for a customer tomorrow.

"Nice board uncle." I complimented.

"Thank you nani. 'Cause I'm giving it to you." He said.

"What?!" I yelled in shock.

"You heard me. I see how you stare at the surfers while there surfing. So, I thought you might wanted to join then." He explained.

"Thank you!" I squealed repeatedly.

I ran and gave him a huge hug.

"No problem Kailani. Now head on home. I'll strap your board my car when Before I leave. You're going to have to get a lot of sleep if you're going to right Hawaiian waves." He declared.

"Okay! I'll get going!" I squealed.

I ran outside to get on my bike and ride home. As I was riding I watched the waves. I watched as they crashed into each other. I watched as the sun set down onto the water. The pink clouds moving passed the sun. It was nothing but beautiful.

I suddenly heard someone calling me. I looked and saw a few surfer in front of me. I slammed on my brakes and accidentally swerved into a bush.

"Woah, are you okay?" the voice asked into the bush.

I moved the branches of the bush out I my face. I looked up and saw Noah. He was reaching his hand out for mines. I held my hand out and watched as it touched his. His arms instantly flexed. I watch the his veins pop out from his arm.

"Yeah, I think I'm okay." I hesitated, still looming back and forth between his eyes and his giant muscles.

As he let's go I start to tumble from dizziness. I fell into his chest. My face squished into the front on his muscular shoulder.

"Ya, I think you need some help getting home." He recommended.

"No, I'll be okay." I said, dizzily.

I started walked to my bike like a drunk person who had way too many shots. I tried to get on my bike but Noah stopped me.

"No way am I letting you ride this home. Especially since u just ran into a bush." He stated.

"So how am I suppose to get home?" I asked.

"I'll walk you." He recommended.

"I don't think I can walk home with a STRANGER." I exaggerated.

"Well then, it's a good thing we're not strangers." he said, as he grabbed my bike.

We ended up walking together to my house. As we walked he pushed my bike.

"So. I saw earlier today at the store you were checking out that surfboard. The one in the glass box." He said.

"Yeah, it's my father's." I told him.

"Wow! Really?!" He said surprised.

"Well.. It's my father's and my uncle's." I corrected myself.

"Still, that's the surfboard that one five of our Hawaii state surf competition in a row." He said.

"I know. It's an amazing board." I murmured.

"You bet it is! I go in that store and just admire it." he admitted.
