Chapter 18 cont.

Summer's perspective~

I was sitting in the car next to Sam. We were heading towards the girls family house.

It was a cute neighborhood and a nice small house.

We both walked up the steps towards the house.

Sam knocked on the door while I looked around.

The neighborhood was quiet and very few people were out and about.

I turned my attention back towards the door when it opened. What I saw made me smile.

"Hi. Are you the police?" A young girl maybe 5 answered the door.

Sam looked at me as I looked at him. I kneeled down towards the young girl.

"Hi sweety. Is your mom or Dad home. We got questions to ask them." The little girl quickly left inside.

I got up from my spot and looked at Sam. He just shrugged in response.

A woman came to the door. She had brown hair and green eyes. She looked to be their mother.

"Yes. What is it?" She asked sounding annoyed and upset.

We flashed our badges slowly. "I'm Agent Sheppard and this is my partner Agent Collins. We just want to talk to you about you daughter. Rachel."

She looked at us strangely but moved aside to let us in.

We sat on the couch kinda closely. I looked around there was a fire place and on it was pictures of the family.

I noticed something that there was no guy in the pictures. I heard footsteps coming in and a different woman was there.

"What can I do for you officers?" The lady asks calmly but sad.

"Ma'am did your daughter have anybody that might not liked her. Or wanted to cause harm to her?" I asked her.

She didn't like that question. "What do you mean? My daughter was a great child she didn't do anything wrong. She had all A and had many good friends. I just don't understand why someone would do that." She started to speak louder at the end.

The other woman walked in with glasses of water for all of us. She sat the cups down and comfort the other lady.

"Sorry about this but it's hard on us at the moment. She was our oldest child. We saved her from a troubled family. We thought she was happy. Who would do this to our little girl?" The woman said to us.

We looked at each other and then back at the couple.

"We will found out who did this ma'am's. You can count on us." I proclaimed to them.

With that we left the house and got into our car. Before we left I saw a old lady in the widow across the street looking at us with discuss.

I looked around some more and two more houses were like that but one was a young woman and he other a man.

I turned my attention forward.

"Did you see that?" I asked Sam.

"No what?" He asked sounding confused.

"We had some unpleasant views from some neighbors here. Something just doesn't seem right." I said to him.

"Well we'll discuss this more with the other two. Dean wants us to go to the nearest dinner." He started driving towards he nearest dinner.

"Of course Dean and Olivia with their food." I giggled.

Time skip by food~

We made it to the dinner and sat down at a booth. I sat beside if Sam and waited for the other two to show up.
