Chapter 37

Castiel popped in the back seat of the impala. The two brothers heard the angel come in and slightly looked back.

They saw that the man had his clothes bloodied and clothes little dirty.

"Cas What the hell happened?" Dean asked while still focused on the road ahead.

"Angels and demons. Both of them know where the girls are and we need to hurry. It's in a small town in Indiana." Castiel explained while trying to calm down.

Dean quickly turned his car around and spend down the highway.

Sam was holding onto his seat while Castiel fell to one side of the car.

Time skip by faster~

They made it to the town that Castiel was at but something was different.

There was people. More than usual.

"I don't understand there was no one not even a sign of another person here." Castiel explained looking confused.

"Well then let's find out then shall we." Dean parked into a spot in front of the park.

"Sam you go ask some people while I'll take Cas and ask people the opposite direction." Sam nods his head in response and walks away.

They started to split to there own directions.

Dean and Cas tried to grab the attention from the passerby but got no reaction. Even when they tried to stop them, nothing.

The thing that did stand out was their blank stare towards them.

It was like their just mindless beings in a small town.

They were going nowhere with this until a child walked up to them.

She had pigtails and was wearing a flower dress. Her hair was brown and her skin fair. She had small buck teeth popping out but was replaced with a wide smile.

"Would you like to play with me?" The girl asked cheerfully.

Dean and Castiel looked at each other and then back towards the girl.

Dean crouched down to the girls eye level.
"Do you know what's going on her sweetheart?"

The girl just smiled more and grabbed Dean's hand. "Come on. Come on. Let's play."

Dean was pulled away with the girl leaving a confused Castiel in his place.

The girl walked towards the swing seat and sat down in on of the swings.
"Sit". She patted the seat next to her.

Dean sat in the seat and looked out towards the crowd.

"The grown ups don't like me. They just pass me without even saying hello." The girl started.

Dean looked over at her with a sorta frown.
"What do you mean?"

The girl looked at him with a smile but looks back towards the crowd.
"I mean silly. Their eyes never glow and they are robots. No emotion. Like zombies. Bleehh hehehe." She giggles while explaining.

Dean was still confused until he looked at the people and saw what she described was true.

"You know. I'm really special. That's what my mommy says all the time. I'm her little angel she says." The girl starts swinging.

Just them a women appears in front of her.
"There you are. Come on now, sweetheart it's time to go home now."

The girl stopped what she was doing and walked towards the mother.
