Valentines Day

Today was Valentines Day. Michael wasn't very sure if Luke was his valentine or not but he decided that even if he wasn't Lukes valentine Luke was still gonna be his.

Michael was gonna ask Luke to officially be his boyfriend today. You think that since they already seem like they're dating to most people Michael wouldn't be nervous at all.

But he was.

Luke has built these walls around himself to keep himself from getting hurt. Why you may ask?

Well, Michaels still trying to figure that one out himself. From what he knows Lukes never even dated someone before or has gotten hurt by someone so he had no reason to build those walls.

Yet Luke did.

Michael knew Luke wouldn't want to be asked in a public place around people, he also knew he wouldn't want everyone to make a big deal about it. So in the end (with calums help) Michael came up with what he think is a perfect plan.

It was 1:45 p.m right now. He was in his last period sitting next to Calum continuously clicking his pen, driving the maori haired boy to snap.

"Can you stop?" He almost yelled drawing everyone's attention to the two of them. Once the teacher decided to go back to writing whatever they were learning on the board Michael whispered back.

"Im sorry, i'm just nervous because... Well, you know" Calum only nodded, seeing Michael wipe his sweaty hands on his jeans. "You have nothing to worry about. We all know Luke is gonna say yes." He rolled his eyes.

"Besides half the school already thinks you guys are dating, the kid is probably wondering when you're gonna man up and ask him." Calum carried on once he saw that Michael still didn't look calm.

"I guess you're right, but you don't know how luke is. He wants to take things slow." Calum only rolled his eyes, sighing. "Its been like five months, Michael i'm sure that was plenty of slowness."

"Have you even asked him if he was able to go home with you today?" Calum asked causing Michaels eyes to widened.

"Shit." He cursed earning a scold from their teacher, which he ignored, pulling out his phone.

"Maybe today is the day?" Caiti wiggled her eyebrows as Luke rolled his eyes playfully, laughing. "Oh please, he always ask me if I wanna ride home with him" Luke rolled his eyes again.

"Luke! It's Valentines day. Today would be the most perfect day for him to ask!" She exclaimed grabbing his shoulders. Luke only sighed before lightly grabbing hers, "It's never gonna happen." He fakely smiled.

"A bet you a bottle of perfume he asks you out today." she stuck out her hand. I could really use a new scent Luke thought before smiling, grabbing Caitis hand. "You're on"

Once the bell rung, Michael was the first out his class rushing to Lukes locker. Seeing the blonde laughing with Caiti and another kid who had pinkish orangish hair, Michael wondered who he was, Luke never mentioned him before.

Once Caiti saw Michael walking towards them she smirked before grabbing the strange boys arm, walking away.

"Hey Michael" Luke smiled once he noticed the white haired boy by his locker door. "Hi.." Michael replied kind of zoning in and out still thinking about that guy. He knew Luke wouldn't do that to him. Or would he? Michael thought before shaking away that thought.

"Who was that guy?" He asked once luke shut his locker and they were walking down the hallway, Michael wrapping his arm around the boys shoulders.

"What guy?" Luke asked furrowing his eyebrows looking up at the eighteen year old. "The one with the colored hair."

"Oh! Thats Peach." Luke smiled picking at his nails while Michael was probably the most confused he's ever been. "Peach?" Michael asked

"Well, his real name is Asher but everyone calls him Peach because of the hair." Luke explained as they got in Michaels car. Michael only nodded pulling out of the schools parking lot.

"Is he Caitis boyfriend or?" Luke only laughed. "No he's probably the most gayest person beside me in 9th grade" Lukes laughter died down as they drove down the road towards Michaels house.

"So what're doing today?" Luke asked leaning his head up against the window. Michael glanced at the blonde boy before smiling to himself looking back at the road. "I was thinking about ordering Take out and watching The Karate Kid. You have any other plans?" Luke only shook his head.

"sounds good to me" He looked over at Michael smiling as the older man smiled back.

Once they pulled into Michael driveway they got out before walking inside, down to Michaels basement. "Where are your parents?" Luke asked sitting down the couch as Michael plopped down next to him. "They went to a spa for Valentines day, some kind of coupon they found." Michael chuckled before dialing up the take out place ordering their food.

As they waited for their food to arrive Michael got a bunch of blankets and pillows turning the thermostat down to 65° because luke loved to cuddle when it was cold.

(im skipping the food and the movie because i know you all wanna get to the good stuff.)

As the credits rolled on the screen Luke untangled himself from Michael, stretching out almost like a cat does. "What time is it?" The blonde yawned checking his phone.

5:20 p.m

"I can stay a couple more hours." He whispered crawling back under Michaels arm.

"Why is your heart beating so fast?" Luke asked lifting his head up as Michael sat up on the couch. "Well..." Michael trailed off before groaning running his hands through his hair. "This seemed so much easier when I thought about it in my head." He chuckled before looking at the blonde beauty in front of him.

"Luke, this is such a clichè way but, would you like to do me the honor of being mine?" Michael asked before quickly adding in "My boyfriend" just in case Luke didn't get it.

i try always try to be fUnNy but i just end up being cringey :) Also who's your valentine? I guess mine is Ulta because they're delivering a package to me today :')

Idk when i got even more worse at writing but here i am :)
