Currently we lived more toward the north where humans rarely traveled. We had a small coven now since Erasmus found his mate in a nomad vampire named Allura who was stunning and her voice could lure a faithful man to his death, and her vampire son Angelus who's gift seemed to be only to be able to get on my nerves with outstanding precision. We received an invitation to travel to Forks from the Cullens due to some emergency. I packed light and brought with me a few of my smaller pieces of metal craft.

When we arrived I was taken by the sights of the large trees and greenery. I could feel the chill of winter approaching but it made me smile and shiver. "Ah Erasmus old friend! And I see you and Aurora have found your mates?" Carlisle asked. "Dad did, that there is my brother Angelus." I said quietly pointing at my crazy brother who was flirting with Rose. "Angelus! She has a mate and he will beat you to a pulp!" I shouted next before I suddenly smelled wolf. I looked at Erasmus questioningly even as Edward walked out with a still plain looking newborn vamp with a small child that smelled of vampire and a young man who hovered. He was the source of the wolf smell. "Carlisle why did you not say Edward Finally found his mate? Was it due to the vampire child and now you have gathered my family here to die?" Erasmus said in his quiet angry voice. I backed away slowly and hid behind him. Angelus followed quickly. We stood ready for any order from our patriarch. "She is only half vampire my sweet one. Look the flush of life in her cheeks. Her mother the newborn I take it." Allura said with soft lilt to her voice. "Um yes indeed. The Volturi are coming and.." "right Aurora Angelus we are leaving now." Erasmus said sternly. I nodded and grabbed my bag. "Erasmus! You once said you would grant me one favor some day." Esme said walking out. I heard Erasmus stop and grumble to himself. "Fine we shall stay." He said giving me a pointed look. I smiled knowing he would watch over me as he did since he turned me years ago.
