*Cyrus POV*
I was sitting at my desk trying to sort through the thousands of papers retaining to the dreaded subject, History as I attempt to make sense of it all. I groan as I realize that I still have to study for Science too. School is hard! As I start getting supplies to make about a thousand flashcards to help my studying when my phone dings. I walk over thankful for the distraction and see that TJ texted me. I smile as I open my phone completely disregarding my studying.

T- Hey Cyrus I need your help
C- What's up?
T- I'm studying for math and I can't understand any of it
C- Did you try studying with Buffy?
T- She has basketball until late tonight
C- Meet you in the park?
T- By the swings?
C- Yup!
T- Sounds good. Thanks again!
C- Np

I grab my studying stuff and start to walk out of the house. I yelled back to my mom, "Studying at the park be back for dinner!"
I heard her yell back, "Ok sweetie have fun!"
I race to the park as fast as I can with a backpack on. Soon I'm at the park and I see TJ sitting down in the grass with papers littering the ground around him. He groans as he throws his hands up in the air bringing them down running a hand through his hair. I practically skip over to him.
"Hey TJ!" I happily say.
TJ jerks his head noticing me. His concerned face melts into a smile as he responds, "Hey Cyrus."
I sit down next to him and glance down at the math work he has with him.
"Hey, thanks for helping me even though I'm kinda a hopeless case." He says in a sad tone.
I look him straight in the eyes, those gorgeous eyes, and say, "No one is hopeless."
He smiles softly at me and I feel accomplished.
We do math for a while. It's boring and challenging to keep focused on formulas and theorems when TJ is sitting right beside me. The sun perfectly shining on his hair. His eyes calculated and focused.
Soon I realize it's getting late and I need to make it home before dinner. Plus I still have to study.
"Hey Teej?" I ask.
He barely responds just a quick yup.
"Is it alright if I take off I gotta get home?"
TJ immediately looks up at me with those damn eyes and says, "Of course. Thanks for all the help today it was actually pretty useful."
We both chuckle as I grab my things.
I start walking down the path that leads to my bike but before TJ is completely out of my sight I take one last look back at him. He's focused on a problem and doesn't register my stare. Probably a good thing. I smile slightly as I hop on my bike and start my ride home.
When I get home just in time for dinner my mom greets me with, "How was your study date?"
I groan and say, "It wasn't a date!"
She nods hand up as a sign of surrender.
I smile again this time fully.
Study date at the park with TJ. Now that is something I could get used to.
