Chapter 5

*** Nash's POV***

Kaleigh and I are in line to get on the Ferris wheel. I'm really developing strong feelings for this girl. I know this all sounds cliché, but it was love at first sight. This might sound like every other teenage love story, but words can't describe how I feel about Kaleigh.

Should I ask her out?

Or not?

Forget it. I'll ask her out. I'm in love with her for gods sake.

We just got on the Ferris wheel. I think it's my time to shine.

***Kaleigh's POV***

Nash is just sort of staring at me. I'm wondering what's going on in his head right now. I finally got the courage to say "Why are you staring at me?"

Nash replied, "Look Kaleigh, I have to tell you something.."

I cut him off and said, "Nash. You're scaring me. What's wrong?"

"I can't deny it anymore. Kaleigh, I love you. I know this is a strong assumption because we're only teenagers. But I swear Kaleigh, I'm not assuming anything. I am truly in love with you. We both have some issues, but I would be the happiest person in the world if you would be the one to get through those struggles with me. Kaleigh Marie Owens, will you go out with me?"

***Nash's POV***

I waited for a good 10 seconds for her response.

"Look Nash. I'm not gonna deny it either. I love you too. I just don't wanna be judged walking around school everyday."

Wait. What? Does she know about my career? Why else would she feel judged? I hope this isn't the only reason she started hanging out with me.

"W-w-what do you mean?" Crap. I stuttered.

"Well...it's just the whole Jake thing. He basically runs the school. I'm scared of what he will do.." Kaleigh said.

"I'll protect you. Don't worry about what anyone thinks about us." I reached for her hand to comfort her.

Right then, the ride broke down and stopped. The impact made Kaleigh slide towards me. I put my arm around her. I guess it was just an instinct and we both leaned in. Then, BAM, we started moving again.

We both started laughing but leaned in and kissed anyways.

"So...is that a yes?" I asked and smiled.

She leaned in and kissed me again.

"Does that answer your question?" Kaleigh smirked.

Our ride came to an end. So this is it. Kaleigh is my girlfriend. This is the happiest I've been in a long time.

***Hayes' POV***

"Nash just texted me and told us to meet them at the car. Apparently him and Kaleigh have some news." I told Kaden.

"I knew they were always gonna get together" Kaden said.

"What??" I replied.

"Have you not seen the way they look at other Hayes? Your such a boy." She told me while smiling.

"Sorry, I really don't pay attention with anything that has to do with Nash." I replied and we both started laughing.

(15 minutes later in the car)

"Hey guys! Ok, so..... Ikindasortaaskedkaleighoutandshesaidyes!?!" Nash said.

"Ummm Nash in English please?" I asked him.

"Nash asked me out and I said yes, so we are dating." Kaleigh explained to me.

"Hayes I told you they were making out on the Ferris wheel!" Kaden said practically screaming at me but I just laughed.

"Yeah, yeah I guess your right again" I said rolling my eyes toward Kaden.

***Nash's POV***

"Hayes, I think it's time we told them." I told Hayes.

"Ok, well do you want me to explain it or you?" I asked Nash.

I parked in the Starbucks parking lot and Hayes and I turned around to talk to the girls.

"Umm... Hey we kinda need to ask y'all something. Do y'all know what vine is?" I asked the girls.

"Yeah sort of. I have one but never get on." Kaleigh explained to me.

"Yeah, well Hayes and I are sort of vine famous!?!" I told the girls nervously. They looked at each other and started chuckling.

"He's not kidding. Nash has 9 million followers and I have 3 million." Hayes explained and the girls mouths dropped.

"Hey do y'all happen to know Gilinsky?" Kaden asked Hayes and I.

"Jack oh yeah! We know him. How do y'all?" I asked Kaden.

The girls looked at each other and laughed again. "Gilinsky was our bestfriend before he moved. God do I miss that kid. He was more like our brother, so it was hard on us when he moved away." Kaden explained.

***Kaleigh's POV***

"I guess that why y'all look so familiar. I just want you to know that Kaden and I will never take advantage of you. I guess today has just been another adventure with you Griers." I smirked towards Nash and Hayes.
