In the kingdom of Crystal Manor, lives the terrifying king named Jeon Jungkook. He was the most powerful vampire that had ever ruled the said Manor. He was yet to have the strongest power among all vampires, they had believed it was a gift from his ancestors and some believed it was a curse.

A good and a bad curse, perhaps.

In the bad side, Jungkook was cruel. He rarely accepts joyful festivals and strictly accepts gifts that were only to his liking.

He was said to have a cold and ruthless attitude. Jungkook never lets people call him by his name. It should be "your majesty" or "king".

No one knew about his childhood, he was kept inside the castle grounds until he turned 14, where he finally stepped out of the prison he was in for how many years. He was a spoiled brat, to be exact. He was given whatever he wanted.

What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine, he says.

But in the brigther side, Jungkook has this one male who stops him in his cruel deeds-- well, not literally, but is always there to calm him down whenever he had the chance to.

That lucky male was Kim Taehyung. He was a not-so-normal 19 year old male who was born as a golden-red fox hybrid. In other words, he was one of the rarest fox in their town. Everyone was searching for him to get alot of money, but the rare fox had crossed paths with the Crystal Manor's king by accident instead.

-FLASHBACK-

"Taehyung ah, didn't mama told you to stay at home?" His older brother, Baekhyun asked as he looked at his younger brother who was pouting and was begging to go with him

"B-but I want to go see the lake and harvest apples!" Taehyung whines as he huffed and sat on the clean grass, glaring at it as his pout remained on his lips

"Dear, I told you not to come out of the house right?" His mom then cane to view, carrying a medium-sized basket on her hand as she crouched down to meet Taehyung who was sitting down, sulking.

"But mama! Pwease? Just this once! I wanna gow!" Taehyung babytalks, his doe eyes widening as his mom sighed as looked at Baekhyun

"Okay, dear. You may go- but! Stay close to us okay? There are dangerous creatures around here.." His mom warned as he happily clapped his hands and nodded

"Yes mommy! I promise not to cause trouble!" He says proudly, standing up as he stayed close to his mom and brother

But boy, he was so wrong.

Sometimes, he asks himself on why was he born rare. Why was his brother a normal fox while he was the rare one? Now his acts are limited.

Very limited.

"Aha! There his is! The hybrid!" A loud growl from the dark area of the forest says, alarming the two older foxes who immidately looked for the voice
