"Excellent work, Taehyung." His boss says, satisfied from the project he made for the company. "You may take an early leave because of this. You deserve a good rest."

Oh, what a music for the male's ears. "Really, boss? Thank you so much!" He squeals, bowing as he had been longing to rest even for a few hours, spending late nights to the project had really been a challenge- but luckily he was rewarded by a day off.

So there he goes, packing his work bag and necessities to get a taste of his early leave. Of course, his workmates were jealous of him but it's not like they can blame him for anything.

Almost everyone had a crush on him, too.

It wasn't long before he found himself standing infront of the elevator, waiting for the doors to slide open. He lived in a certain condo unit, though it was pricey it was still better for him who lives alone and only walks to his job.

He hums a happy song, tapping his feet to the rhythm as he kept himself busy by scrolling through his social media account- mind racing to what he should be doing first by the time he had reached his unit.

That was when he hears a ding, with the elevatoe doors opening. He sighs, shutting his phone off before walking inside the small empty room. Taehyung scans the numbers, clicking the button that would stop at his floor- the 5th floor. Taehyung smiles to himself, watching the doors slowly closing but was hurriedly stopped by a hand.

"Damn, good thing I catched up." A voice said, with the doors opening again to reveal its owner.

Taehyung's eyes widens. Infront of him was non other than a familiar face under the name of his ex. He wore a tight black suit, looking like he was in a hurry- judging by how he catched for his breath when he finally entered the elevator.

Even if he wasn't claustrophobic, he felt like the space had tightened upon the male's appearance- his air supply was cut short as he held on the side to support his balance. Taehyung shuts his eyes, the atmosphere becoming awkward as he looks down- keeping his head low in hopes he wouldn't be recognized anymore.

"So," Jungkook hums, "We meet again." The other male, however felt like he was being betrayed by fate. He never wanted to see Jungkook anymore nor to cross paths ever woth him- but it sucks to live in the same unit building as he was.

"Uh, yeah. We somehow did.." He mumbled, pressing himself to the wall sideways, trying to keep a fair distance from Jungkook.

"You live in the 5th floor?" Jungkook asks the obvious, maybe wanting to strike a conversation. He wasn't sure why the male was being friendly despite the stuff they have been through before- but at least he meant nothing mean. "Oh! Yeah.. How about you..?"

It was lame, and so far the most stupid question Taehyung had ever asked in such a situation. He had promised himself not to engage with his ex anymore, to leave their memories behind and just be complete strangers within each other.
