The next day just after lunch I went to take ma upstairs for her afternoon nap, I could hear giggling coming from Isabella's room I was about to head to my office when I heard Alberto coming for me. "What is it?" I ask.

"Sebastian wants to video chat, he says its important" I nod "I've set it up in the office for you."

"I'll get Angel, I'll meet you in there" I say as he nods walking back down the stairs towards the office. I knock on Isabella's door, and I wait to hear a 'come in'. Angel and Isabella were sitting on the bed when I walked in "Sorry to interrupt but I need to speak to Angel" I give a look to Angel, and she nods telling Isabella that she will be back soon.

I walk out of the room with Angel following me behind. "What's up?" she asks as we walk down the stairs.

"Cangussu wants a chat, I need you in here, so I don't have to repeat what his says" She raises her eyebrow and shakes her head following me inside the office. I make my way over to the desk and take a seat as Alberto closes the door behind Angel.

I light a cigarette nodding to Alberto to start the call to Cangussu. "Luca D'Amore, so nice to finally answer our call." I hear Sebastian says through the screen of my laptop. I could see that they both had two black eyes each and split lips I smirked at them. I blow out the smoke into the screen. "Hmm, where's the girl?" He says again as he smirks. From the corner of my eye Angel walks around the desk slowly to stand next to me.

"Ahh there she is. How are you doing babydoll?" Sebastian says, "Miss us?" He winks at her.

"Oh no, I totally forgot about you fellas, but I see you won't be forgetting about me any time soon" I see that she is smirking looking through the screen seeing their bruises. "Now I have to say I love my handy work that I left you fella's. Don't you?" I could hear Sebastian growl through the speakers.

"You need to keep your whore on a leash." Sebastian says as I blow out another puff off cigarette smoke.

"What do you want Cangussu, I am very busy. So, get on with it." I say as flick the ash in the ashtray.

"You know what we want."

"I'm afraid I don't."

"I want my cousin and I want your whore. I want revenge for what she did to my family."

"Your cousin kidnapped her! He beat her! Cut her! Angel got her revenge on that bastard. Rafael and Diego betrayed my family not anyone else." I say as Sebastian leans back in his chair.

"I will be coming for her, mark my words D'Amore. If you stand in my way, I will take your family down right in front of you. I will keep her alive and keep her as my personal sex slave. Maybe give her to all my men once I'm done with her." I could see Angel's hands go into fists.

"I like to see you try and walk past my iron gates. You won't be able to, you and your men will be gun down before you say your last prayer."

"We will see about that, D'Amore. We will be seeing you very soon too babydoll" He winks at her as he ends the call our screen turns black. I slam my fist into the desk making everything rattle that was on top of it. I stand up as my chair slams into the wall behind me as I walk over to my liquor cabinet pouring myself a whiskey slamming it down in one, I pour myself another I was about to drink it till Angel took it out of my hand slamming it down her throat handing the glass back to me.

"What are we going to do? We need to get them before they get us." She says turning to Alberto as I pour myself another glass of whiskey.

"We train everyday harder than before; I want you and Isabella to train too. " I say as I turn around to look at them. I see Alberto look over at me when I mention it, I see something in his eyes, but it goes before I can say anything. "Starting tomorrow bright and early. Got it?" Alberto nods, pulling his phone out to text everyone about the training tomorrow.

"I need you to show me how to use other weapons other than my fists." Angel says looking at me as I nod at her.

"Either, Alberto, Alex or I will teach you."

"Good because I am not going down without a fight this time" She smirks as Alberto snaps his eyes over to her.

"Papa's quote." He smirks. "Moretti's and D'Amore's never go down without a fight."

"If it's a war that he wants then let him, we will be ready" I say.

Don't get me wrong while Luca was talking to Sebastian over video chat, I was scared. I was scared for my brother, for ma, for Isabella, for everyone who lived in this estate and mostly for Luca. I wouldn't know what to do if I had anyone, we have become so close over the past few months.

I felt arms wrap around my waist and his chin resting on my shoulder as I lean back into him. "What are you thinking about mio angelo "(My Angel) Luca asks in his husky voice.

"About everything that might happen..." I sighed as I stare out of the window looking out at the lake.

"Why do you think we will lose?"

I shake my head no, as I look back over my shoulder at him. "No, I know we will win. But I was thinking about the people we might lose after this..." I say as he stokes the skin that isn't covered by my shirt on my hip.

"That is why we will be training every day. Ma will be going back to Italy next week and after all this is done, I will be taking you there" he smiles kissing the space between my neck and shoulder. "I want to make you mia regina (my queen)"

"You are already mio re (my king)"

"I know but I want to make it official. I have waited so long for this and now that you are here in my arms, I won't be letting go of you any time soon." He says as I blush.

"Luca D'Amore are you telling me that you want to marry me?" I turn in his arms wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Yes, Angel Moretti I do want to marry you." He smirks "I will have the most bellissimo (beautiful) wife in the world. Everyone here already adores you."

"Hmm you will have to ask Alberto though, you know... Ask him for my hand in married I am sure he will say yes..." I smirk as I wink at him, he groans shaking his head. We both knew Alberto would give him hell if he did this and I just wanted to watch it. Making the king of a mafia the devil himself become vulnerable.
