Monday came pretty quickly for Cole, she did not show up for her shift at Club Envy Friday, nor Saturday but she sent a message out to Larry. He was understanding about her finding a new job and wished her well.

Cole was excited to begin a new journey in life.
It was about seven in the morning and she was getting ready for her first day. Her new boss said she would only be doing training today and to wear khaki trousers and a black collar shirt for the first week until she gets her uniform.

After getting dressed she went to the bathroom to do something to her hair. She took her bonnet off and straighten out her hair with her flat iron. It didn't take her long and once she was finished, she checked the time. Marcel had just pulled up outside and he texted Cole to let her know. She grabbed her purse and headed out the door. Her hair swing from side to side as she opened the passenger door and got inside.

"Good morning," she greeted pulling her seat belt over her.

"Good morning," he replied but nothing else was said as they sat in comfortable silence the whole ride there. When he pulled up to the mall he stopped at the front door. "Text me when you'll be ready." He replied as Cole got out the car.

"Okay," she gave him a small smile before walking off to start her day at her new job. Marcel didn't pull off, he was busy texting someone. Once he was done he put his car in drive and pulled off.

He drove for about ten minutes before he reached his destination. He parked then got out his car, checking his surroundings. He walked inside the small cafe and looked for a certain someone. When his eyes find her in the middle of the cafe, he made his way over to her. He took a seat in the chair in front of him and smile at the woman in front of him.

"Hi Marcel, glad to have heard from you.."

Shrugging his shoulders slightly, Cole popped up in his head before he replied. "Just been busy, got a business to run, yah know?"

"I get that but you haven't reached out to me within a month.. I was starting to think I did something." The girl in front of him frowned slightly. "I've missed you.."

He looked over at the beautiful lady and gave her a soft smile. Although he told himself he wouldn't talk to her anymore.. it was hard, especially since he still had love for this woman. He had kept his distance because he was tired of the negativity she brung into his life. He was tired of the same old argument.. the time away did help put something's in perceptive for him but he was still stuck on what to do..

For five years the two of them had been back in forth.. Marcel was getting fed up with the mix signals. One minute she was telling him she was ready the next minute she was telling him she needed more time.

"Well, you did say you needed more time.. I was giving you what you wanted." Marcel replied. "Was that enough time? If not I can go live my life and be happy with someone else.."

"No! No! It was enough time Marcel, I'm ready this time." She leaned forward and grabbed his hands. "I'm ready to settle down, I love you Marcel." She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"I love you too Ava," and with that the two of them finished up their lunch and spend the day together. It felt like old time when the two of them would hang out together.. nothing but laughs and fun. Marcel was enjoying himself so much he didn't realize Cole had texted him an hour ago to tell him she was ready.

They were now in the comfort of his apartment. While he was in the kitchen looking for a snack his phone vibrated with a message and he looked down to see it was Cole. "Shit," he picked his phone up and looked at the message. 'If you didn't want to pick me up, you could have just said that instead of leaving me hanging'
