~One month later~

It was humid outside, grey clouds covered the sky's. How it looked outside was the exact way Cole was feeling. She was cooped up in her room, staring out the window. Cole was always in her room now, Sierra had ran out of ways to get her out. She was worried about her friend. She was sad Cole had to experience that and she was sad there was nothing she could do to make her best friend feel better.

"I don't know what to do Marcel.. every time I try to get her out of her room, she makes up an excuse to not leave.. and I don't wanna force her to do anything she doesn't want to do." Sierra stressed plopping down on the couch.

Marcel didn't respond, instead he started thinking about their second date. Being in her room all the time, he knew she was always thinking about what happened. He was worried that if she stay in there any longer she would push herself into depression.

Marcel walked away from his sister and headed down the hall to Cole's room. He knocked softly, hearing Cole say come in. Marcel opened the door and walked inside. He gave her a soft smile and took a seat at the end of the bed, facing her.

He gazed over at her, staring at her face. he noticed that most of her injuries had healed. She was beautiful but he couldn't help but see a small frown etched on her face. "Can I lay with you?"

Cole's eyes found Marcel's, she knew he was here she just didn't feel like acknowledging him. She was hesitant, it had been awhile since the two of them had spoken. She wasn't mad at him, just still shaken up. Cole had barely interacted with Sierra as well, she was in her room most of the time, lost in her thoughts.

Cole nodded her head and Marcel wasted no time going to lay behind her. He wrapped her in his embrace hoping to make her feel better. He rubbed soothing circles on her arm feeling her body begin to relax under his touch. Cole let out a content sign, snuggling closer. She didn't realize how much she missed his warm embrace.

Just as she closed her eyes an image of Kevon rushing towards had her jumping ready to attack. "Hey! It's okay, it's just me." Marcel says turning her around to face him.

"Every time I close my eyes I-I see him.." Cole confessed, her eyes filled with unshed tears.

"He's gone, I made sure if that." Marcel told her placing a hand against her cheek. "Do you feel safe around me?" Marcel asked remembering she had saw him kill Kevon.

"Of course I do," Cole stated without a thought. She did wanted to know how he found her and how she got a get out jail free card but she just wanted to lay in his arms for now. She was restless and afraid to go to sleep but being in Marcel's arms made the uneasiness fade away.

The two of them were only inches away from each other and Marcel couldn't help himself. He leaned down and pecked her lips softly. It brought a small smile to Cole's face. "That's all I get?" She teased.

"My sister could walk in any moment." Marcel stated looking towards the door than back down at Cole. "You wouldn't want her to know our secret."

"I don't care anymore, I just wanna keep kissing you." Cole shrugged her shoulders, arms wrapping around his neck. Marcel's arms went around her waist.

"On one condition," Marcel bribed. "I get my second date tomorrow.." Cole froze for a second, she wasn't sure if she was ready to leave her room just yet.. she looked up at Marcel's deep brown eyes then down at his big juicy lips. She couldn't say no, Cole nodded her head before pulling him down to kiss her. This time it wasn't a small peck on the lips, Cole made sure of that.
