Cole's World

Cole sat at the kitchen table making a list of groceries to get later as she ate her turkey sandwich. She was off today so she chose to go grocery shopping to get out of the house. She was already dressed but she wanted to put something on her stomach first.

Finishing up the rest of her sandwich she picked up the paper towel she was eating on and tossed it in the trash. She grabbed her purse off the table and headed out the door making sure to lock it. She got inside her car heading to the nearest grocery store.

As soon as she pulled off, a all black car parked down a few houses pulled up. He got out the car dressed in all black. You could tell he was mediocre at what he was doing considering he didn't check his surroundings. He walked up the driveway to the girls apartment. He pulled out a paper clip to pick the lock but unfortunately he didn't get far in his task.

"Who the fuck is you?" Marcel stood behind him face scrunched up in confusion. The guy turned around eyes wide in shock. He wasn't expecting to get caught. When Marcel noticed who the guy was, he face turned from confusion to anger in a matter of seconds. He noticed the guy holding something and he grew alert. Walking up on dude, Marcel jacked him up by his shirt, catching the guy off guard. "Why the fuck you tryna break into this house?" He questioned.

The guy rolled his eyes not fazed by Marcel's temper. Smiling, Marcel let him go then grabbed his gun from his waistband. "You got one second to answer me for I put a bullet in your skull and dispose of your body." He stated calmly.

The man eyes widen in fear, "I-I wasn't tryin' to break in—"

"Stop lying, how do you know Cole?" Marcel cocked his gun ready to use it at any moment. He didn't like the fact that this man not only put his hands on Cole but now he just mysteriously show up where she lives.

Cole also mentioned to Marcel that she didn't know the man. "C-Childhood friend—"

"Didn't I just tell yo ass to stop lying to me?" Marcel's tone was menacing as he took a step towards him. "She don't know you."

"I'm not, she doesn't remember me.. it was before she went to jail." He stated quickly taking a step back.

Marcel said nothing as he looked the scrawny guy up and down. "Get the fuck outta' here, if I see you around here again, I won't hesitate to put a bullet in your brain." The guy quickly walked off as Marcel followed behind him slowly checking out his car and the tags on the back of the vehicle.

Cole had walked around the store for about thirty minutes getting all the groceries on her list. Once she was done, she headed to the cash register. Thankfully the store wasn't busy so she was able to walk straight up to the register.

"Hi! How are you?" The nice older lady asked scanning Cole's items. She greeted the nice lady back. Once the lady was done scanning her items she paid with cash then grabbed her bags leaving the grocery store.

The store was only about five minutes from her apartment so the drive back wasn't long. She pulled up into the driveway noticing Marcel's car parked on the side. She grabbed all the bags into her hands. They were heavy but she wasn't making a second trip back to the car. She was searching for her keys as the door opened. Her eyes widen as she stared from the legs of person in front of her, up to his head. When her vigilant eyes found Marcel's, she smiled as he reached for the bags.

"Thank you," she huffed, gladly giving him the bags. She was happy the weight of the bags were off her. She closed and locked the door making her way to the kitchen to see Marcel putting the groceries up. "Your so sweet."

He gave a small smile, Cole helped him with the rest of the groceries and once they were done she made her way to her room. Marcel followed her, his mind still on the weird man standing at their front door earlier. "That man that grabbed you when you were leaving Club Envy last week, you sure you don't know him?" He had to ask.
