Finding You (Camila/You) [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 16

Nothing can go wrong. Especially that everyone seems happy. Camila can feel the assurance of a great future because they can change the world. Or they feel like they can change the world.

"Do you think it is possible to overthrow the government," Camila asked the girls as they sat in front of the tv. 

"I think that there is a possibility. I mean Y/N and the others that helps the Ground Under has the element of surprise, right? What if we fight back?" Normani agreed. 

"It's the government what they do is the 'law' but if we do it. It's a crime," Lauren said. 

"Something tells me that a change is bound to happen," Camila said with the hopeful gleam of her eyes. 

"I hope so, too," Ally agreed. 

As they speak of that, Y/N, on the other hand, visits the Ground Under. It is her way of making sure that they will be alright. If a change happens and she won't be able to be there for them. 

"Hello, Abby," Y/N greeted Abby as she walks in the clinic. 

"Y/N, how have you been?" Abby beamed as she welcomes Y/N with a hug. Y/N returned the hug as tight as she could to send a message of goodbye. They caught with each other's lives as they drank coffee in Abby's office. 

Y/N had this aura that made Abby look deeper into the meaning of this visit.

"How are you?" Abby asked. Her forehead is filled with lines as she raised her eyebrows. Y/N almost burst out in tears as she remembered the time when she first saw Abby. How worried she looked because Y/N happen to stumble on one of the entrance. Abby did not sound worried in a way that a child from the upper found them but instead she was worried because Y/N seemed lost. 

"I am fine. I have never been more happy, Abby. Things are looking up for me because being under the spotlight might add income for the Ground Under. I might accumulate more people to help us. My brother is alive, and I think I have found love," Y/N explained as if she was drunk on life. She made it seem like she wants this life, that she is going to fight to live it. 

Y/N sees Abby's shoulders relax and her smile was softer as if she knew. "I'm happy for you," Abby said. After their conversation, Y/N went along to talk to the children. 

"Sofi, hey," Y/N said as she caught Sofi and gave her a hug along with Regina. "Hi, Regina." 

"Are you here to stay?" Sofi asked with her big brown eyes. That struck a chord deep in YN's heart. 

"I'm just here to visit," Y/N said as she hugged the Sofi and Regina. Y/N regrets doing this for a second. She wants to stay right there in the moment, where everything was back to normal.

Y/N and Channing are preparing themselves for the 'helicopter ride.' They plan on making this big because with this occurrence something consequential will happen. 

Y/N has been preparing herself with the aftermath; how will she stay neutral if people around her expect something else. 

"Ready?" Channing asked Y/N, and Y/N felt ridiculous for having a sarcastic comment in her mind. She stopped herself because Channing will surely lecture her about it. 

"Of course," She simply answered as she looked carefree with their hands in her pocket. 

They made a live video as they rode through the sky. Y/N smiled sweetly at the camera and winked. Here's to changes.

Camila watched the live video with the girls. Her heart is hammering against her chest for some reason. Her hands are shaking as she held on to her cup. She doesn't know what is happening. It must be the coffee. She thought.
