AUTHOR'S NOTE.

HI peeps. I know its been way too long. Was really caught up with my exams and stuff. I pinky promise to be really regular.

I highly recommend y'all to re read the previous chapters.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Come in." I hear principal George on the other side of the door and  I ready myself up with a nice smile. I twist the door knob and enter to see a room full of people. Like 'oh it's time for me to get self conscious' full  of people.

I have always been in awe of this cabin. It has floor to ceiling windows on one side giving a brilliant view of the middle foyer surrounded by the gorgeous floral climbers. The opposite wall was cluttered with pictures that held a countless beautiful memories. I spot at least 8 pictures of me and feel ..can't explain it. warm? nostalgic? I have been here quite a few times and thankfully every single time proved out to be a bearer of good news. Yet today, this room was making me nervous.

I am the kind of person who looks really confident on the outside but internally, my brain is trying oh so hard to keep the cork of my tear glands intact. I scan the room to find a few favourite faces, a few 'i think i know them faces' and a few 'do they really go to my uni?'faces.

Sir stops fiddling with the papers in his hands and his face lights up when he sees me. "Emma, I knew you would come. C'mon take one and pass the rest. I will be back in a few minutes.'

Returning his smile, I grab the form and pass the lot to the girl beside me. She gives me a smile but not really the warm kind.  Before  I have the time to feel awkward, I spot Sara, and I instantly feel 100x better. A wide smile takes over her face as she brisk walks towards me. "Oh my. Thank god that you are here."

"Samee" I sigh as I hug her tight, getting rid of the residual nervousness and embracing the excitement of the upcoming venture. We let each other go, only to get surrounded by Jeremy and Derek, our classmates.

"Woohoo the entire clan is here." Derek hoots and we huddle and gush over the fact, grabbing quite a few eyes.

"Guys we need to calm down, people are boring holes through us." Jeremy hushes us.

"Jer, its not us who people are making the object of their scrutiny." Sara says looking at me suggestively.

"What?" I raise my eyebrows at her only to get a secretive smirk in return.

"Seriously what?" I grab her arm, curiosity taking over the best of me.

She cocks her head to the side " Adam Carter huh?" and the world comes crashing down.

My eyes scan the room and as a matter of fact find 30 eyeballs staring at me and 7 mouths whispering in the remaining's ears.

My heart starts beating at 1 gazillion beats per second as I feel my mouth go dry. I completely forgot about the article on the gossip cop. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. Not the best time to get a panic attack. Oh god-

Derek snaps his fingers in front of me bringing me out of my Panic-Picnic.

Okay Em, one step at a time, baby steps. Clear it out with your classmates first.

"Look the thing is. That article wrong. Me candy shake. He steal. Me save- Drop. Scared. Run. Kevin. Phone call." I explain animatedly with my hands still panting, still scared, still numb but doing my best.

"Omg calm down Emma. We were just messing around." Sara says rubbing my shoulders and I feel air fill into my lungs again.

"Ya, it is completely not true, just some well cooked story." I say while the others nod and hum in agreement.
