Year III

Let me take you, somewhere different this time. Somewhere pretty far from where Bailey is now. Somewhere dark and depressing. Somewhere you won't be hearing about for a long time.

The girl sat down on her bed, waiting for her dear mother, in the room where she has lived for as long as she remembers.

She tried passing the time, by looking at the only window in her room, which was unfortunately blocked out by bricks.
The Girl imagined what the view would look like if she was a floor higher, not underground, where there could have been a sky, a sun and trees, like the ones described in the books she reads.

"Here," Said the mother, finally entering the room, with something wrapped in her hand. "got you something for Christmas" She grinned.

"It's Christmas?" Said The Girl, a smile forming on her face.

"Yes it is," she placed the present on the bedside table. "I'll let you open this after today's training."

"No problem." Replied the girl.

Together they walked into a fire-safe room, connected to The Girl's room by an iron door.

"Okay, I want you to shoot it straight, not in balls. Remember, think of something that angers you, something that really gets under your skin. Just like how we practiced.

The girl thought of her life, and how unfair it is. How she never got to live a normal life like the one's she reads in books. She though of how unfair it was that she had to be stuck inside, and never having a proper childhood like how every person should.

She brought her hands together and shot straight fire out of it, which reached the iron walls and then disappeared into air.

"Okay, that's good. I think it's also enough for today. Good job hunny." She smiled and patted The Girl on her back who wiped a bead of sweat from her face and softened her expression.

The Girl went to the bathroom which was connected to her room by a wooden door, and washed her face. She then came out quickly as curiosity and excitement filled her to unwrap whatever her mom got her.

"Here you go, Merry Christmas." She smiled, gave her a kiss on the cheek and handed her the present.

The Girl Unwrapped the present, to find a beautiful book called The Fault In Our Stars .
She already understood the meaning of the title, as if it spook to her. And she knew that it would be one of her favorites.

"Thank you mom," she hugged her.

While at Hogwarts, on Christmas Morning, Bailey woke up to a small box beside her bed, where a beautiful pair of teardrop shaped, Emerald green earrings were in, and no note attached to it.

A/N

Heyy, I'm actually still alive.
Okay so um, it's been more than two months oOps, and we literally reached 2.3K+ HOW EVEN-

So, on my last update, I asked you guys if you still wanted me to update and that you found this fic interesting or I was just writing trash. No one answered that question for 2 months and I honestly gave up until recently, a really nice gal commented on the last chapter updated and said that she loved it and wants me to continue which actually meant a lot to me. So here am I because a nice person [ you know who you are :) ] actually took their time to tell me that they appreciate my work.

But I'm afraid I won't be updating as usual, since my final exams are starting next month and I will be leaving my school so I want to end my years in that school on a good note.

I might not update more than once or twice before I finish my exams, so I hope you understand.

Also, I think I might have found some actual inspiration, which would cause a change in the plot of the story. The only change would be Bailey's love interest, so I'm sorry if you came all this way to see some romanticizing with Draco or some straight shit :)
You might as well enjoy all what is left with Bailey's straight life as it lasts...

Sending you all, all my uwus💓💗💞
